Washington state public school fail, enrollment declines, but homeschooling doubles

You see Mr. and Mrs. Pessimist, there’s always a bright lining. Sure, our schools are morphing into racial and sexual indoctrination centers and who knows if the country will even survive the leftist totalitarian push. But hey, homeschooling is on the rise.

Seriously, if one thing can hold off the disaster this country seems intent on becoming it is homeschooling and Catholic schools. And when I say Catholic schools I mean actually faithful Catholic schools, not the public schools with crosses.

IN short, the bad news in Washington State is that the children can’t read or multiply but they have all the condoms they’ll need until they’re 25. The thing is, as the left goes full woke, people are waking up to how crazy they actually are.

Covid has made at least some people aware. Moms and Dads got to hear what was going on in their kids’ classrooms and they’re reacting.

Post Millenial: Public school enrollment in Washington state continues to decrease below previous forecasts as parents reject activist-driven and hyper-sexualized curriculum, failing test scores, and remote learning and worry about the COVID-19 vaccine being mandated as a requirement of attendance.

Worse yet, the latest school assessments show that 70 percent of students failed to meet standards in math and 52 percent failed to meet standards in English.

Conversely, the homeschooling population doubled last year and 71 percent of Washington voters now support school choice.

According to the February 2022 Forecast Comparison to November 2021 Forecast by Program Area distributed by staff for the Washington State Caseload Forecast Council, K-12 enrollment in public schools is projected to be below 2016 levels. The 2020-2021 school year saw over 40,000 students leave the system, while forecasting showed the loss of over another 1,400 students for 2021-2022.

This is a battle over who’s responsible for the children. Parents? Or nameless administrators and teachers who don’t love your child?

The answer is simple. Unless you’re a student from Washington and you probably can’t read the question.
