A leading homosexual activist organization has released a report measuring the prevalence of favorable lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) material on major US television networks.

Yes, the LGBT is measuring gayness.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) issued its first GLAAD Network Responsibility Index to measure TV networks’ “quantity, quality, and diversity” of homosexual propaganda shown during primetime programming.

According to the study, ABC leads the five major networks (ABC, CBS, The CW, FOX, and NBC) in primetime programming hours containing either homosexual characters or the discussion of homosexuality. The report analyzes the incidence of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) “impressions” in 4,693 hours of primetime from June 1, 2006 – May 31, 2007. Right behind ABC was CW – the merger of the now defunct WB and UPI networks – second at 12 percent, followed by CBS (9 percent), NBC (7 percent) and Fox (6 percent.)

I should have known. Now that I look back, I thinkthis started some time ago, before we even realized it. Since ABC is the gayest network, I decided to see why they were ahead of everyone else. Conclusion, they have been preparing us for along time. Just look at their previous network slogans.

1970 (ABC) “Let’s Get Together on ABC” [Let’s not and say we did!]
1980: “You and Me and ABC” [Threesomes, that’s sick!]
1983: “That Special Feeling on ABC” [I see a pattern developing]
1985: “You’ll Love It!” [Just stop it!]
Today – (ABC Family) “A new kind of family” [Oh, that new kind of family! I’ve had enough]

But it is not just ABC.

1979 (CBS) “We’re Coming On”
1980 (CBS) “Looking Good Together”

However, PBS is clearly the most obvious!

Members make the difference” – PBS

So as the Networks go ‘gay friendly’, I thought we could help them with some new slogan ideas.
ABC, we are simply FABULOUS!
CBS We’re coming out…of the closet silly!
NBC When we’re through, Will & Grace will seem like a family show!

Any ideas?
