Well, I have always thought that you would have to be an idiot to be a Wiccan. Here is some proof.
“Lebanon police investigated an overnight incident in which a woman stabbed herself in the foot with a sword during a Wiccan ritual at a local cemetery.
“Police were called to the Witham Hospital emergency room around 2:00 a.m. on July 19, 2008 on a reported stabbing. The victim, Katherine Gunther, 36, 532 S. East Street, had been transported to the hospital by friends after running a 36-inch sword completely through her left foot.
“Gunther told police that she and several friends were in Oak Hill cemetery in Lebanon around 12:15 a.m. practicing a Wiccan ritual involving candles, incense and driving swords into the earth during the full moon. During this ritual, Gunther accidentally ran the sword through her foot; she also admitted to having consumed alcohol earlier in the evening.“
Duh! Everyone knows that you don’t drunkenly drive swords into the ground when there is a full moon. The moon can throw off your balance.
Now I do hope that you picked up that the “victim” — Ugh! Victim? really? Can’t we call anyone by there proper name anymore? I think that in this case either fool, imbecile, or nitwit would be more appropriate than victim. Anyway, — the “victim” is 36 years old. You might laugh off teenagers displaying such brainless behavior, but a grown woman? Sheesh. I wonder if while she was at the hospital, they were able to get her head out of her …

Stabbing yourself is still better than stabbing others like Catholics did in the crusades. And how many doctors are killed by anti-choice Catholics every year?
And NO. I’m not a practicing Wiccan but I know a lot about it because I believe it has more relevance to today than Christianity.

To anonymous:
How many? Zero. Zilch. Was that a rhetorical question?
Still – crusades, that’s good stuff, cafeteria food-fight grade. I am surprised you didn’t mention the inquisition?

Hey anonymous, is there an oxygen shortage back on your home world?
Just wondering.

How much wick could a wiccan witch work if a wiccan witch would work wick?
I love these boutique cults that claim some esoteric knowledge passed down by the ancients by oral traditions up til our present day. In reality, they are creations of the early 60’s and their knowledge is really a hodge-podge of native American beliefs, Northern European lore and make-it-up-as-you-go new-age ritual.
In essence: tripe. I hope the “victim” finally got the point…

“Stabbing yourself is still better than stabbing others like Catholics did in the crusades.”
It was the only alternative to being stabbed by Muslims who had invaded and desecrated the Christian Holy Land.
“And how many doctors are killed by anti-choice Catholics every year?”
None. But the doctors in question kill roughly four thousand people in the USA every day.
Let’s go over that again. Four thousand. Every. Damned. Day.

Sounds like a professor at a Catholic college.

Well, I certainly hope that she recovers (from both ailments).
P.S. “their”
