On April 6th 1977, Gianna Jessen’s mother, well into her 7th month of pregnancy, walked into a California abortion clinic determined to end the young life within her. Gianna’s fate was to be the same as countless other babies sentenced to unborn death in 1977. Because Gianna’s mother was past her sixteenth week of pregnancy, the abortion method selected was a saline abortion. In a saline abortion, the child is poisoned to death by salt. A needle is inserted into the womb and some of the amniotic fluid is replaced by a highly concentrated salt solution. The baby breathes and swallows the poisonous solution. They typically kick and convulse as they are poisoned and burned to death. The baby is delivered dead some 24 to 48 hours after the beginning of the procedure.
This was the gruesome fate intended for Gianna, however God had other plans. Gianna’s mother received the injection. Knowing that it typically takes some time for the baby to die, the doctor supervising the abortion went home for the night assuming that he would deliver the dead baby in the morning. He left her in the care of a single nurse.
In the middle of the night Gianna’s mother felt something strange. Her water had broken and she was feeling contractions. She was frightened, unsure what was happening to her. She woke the nurse on duty who advised her to just lie down. But the contractions were only getting worse, so she again tried to summon the on-duty nurse. But this time she did not come. She was in a total panic. As the contractions deepened, Gianna’s mother reached down and felt the baby, her baby, the baby she was there to abort. For a moment, there was nothing but silence. How could this be? This was not supposed to happen? The silence was broken by the cry of a living baby. The nurse, stunned by the sound of the cry, came running. The nurse called for an ambulance and the baby was whisked away to the hospital.
If Barack Obama had his way, babies like Gianna would be left in a closet to die. Don’t believe it? Ask Jill Stanek. But Gianna received the kind of care that Obama would deny to other babies. Gianna, instead of being discarded in the name of abortion “rights”, lived. Here is Gianna in her own words about Barack Obama and Born Alive Infants Protection.
And once again for anyone who may not have seen it yet. My video “Mad World of Barack Obama” on the same topic.

It’s been getting some free press from CNN.com- and if the readers’ commentary is any indication, it’s making quite an impact.
Of course, a great many of these comments accuse the McCain campaign of lying, going so far as to suggest the whole story is a fabrication, and that Gianna Jesson’s mother never attempted to abort her. One even offered that, having seen her picture, he wished that they had finished the job. I don’t think there is a word in the English language that can accurately describe the callousness and utter disgustingness of such a comment.
There is no way Obama can defend his record here. It’s like watching Colin Ferguson cross examine witnesses who literally watched him shoot them on the LIRR.
No way, no how, no excuse.

As terrible as those comments are, they may strike some people as so terribly wrong and unfair that they examine the inherently violent nature of the pro-choice movement.
I think Ms. Jesson has taken a great approach- make it about an issue, not taking a side so much as challenging a position that is so reprehensible even most pro-choice individuals do not support it.

Forgive my double post, but I actually found a public forum (readable by all) on a pro-Hillary Clinton webpage (not official) that has a thread about this very video, and there seem to be a lot of McCain voters among them, atleast in part over this very issue. I never thought I would see avatars of Hillary Clinton coupled with ‘McCain/Palin ’08’ signatures.
Check it out here

I think it is important to pray for Obama as I believe he can be converted. He made the wrong decision based on the realization that if the baby that is born is a human with rights then all unborn babies are humans with rights. He voted the way he did to preserve abortion..but he has cracked the door and we need to pray him through realizing that killing the born baby is wrong AND killing the unborn baby is wrong. Pray. Roe converted. The most notorious abortion doctor converted. Obama can convert. Pray.

Perhaps we can ask for intercession from this Saint. It’s unfathomable to me that anyone in this country finds it acceptable to let a struggling infant die alone in the corner of a hospital – unloved and un cared for. It’s a sin and a crime. Obama shouldn’t be elected President, he should be put in psychiatric treatment or a jail cell. http://www.saintgianna.org/

Anyone who supports abortion deserves to be put in jail! Abortion is murder! Why is it you can get the death sentence for murdering a man but the government will gladly use your tax money to murder innocent and helpless babies? I will never comprehend how abortion supporters even call themselves human beings!People who get abortions are criminals! If you support abortion you support manslaughter!
