If you could put a picture to media bias, these covers of Newsweek would be it. Obama and Hillary got warm and fuzzy pics while Michelle Obama got the glamorous Jackie O treatment. But with Sarah Palin, Newsweek goes so close that a dermotologist would be uncomfortable.
Let’s face it, it’s pretty difficult to take a bad picture of Sarah Palin but Newsweek certainly tried.

Great catch, Matthew! What possible reason could Newsweek have for photographing Palin like this, except their own bias against her?
As for Michelle getting the “Jackie O” treatment, that’s more true than many realize:

Hmmm. slick. that one would have escaped me. But I see your point.

You don’t think Palin’s people approved the photo?

The camermen did the same thing at the debate, with the camera very close in on her face, making her a big head filling the screen. Biden did not receive similar treatment.

Heh. On Fox News they were showing a closeup of Palin’s ankles and high heels that some “unbiased” photographer must have thought was a great laugh…
When have we ever seen a close up of Joey Hairplugs’ facelift scars?
PS. The photo of Michelle Obama actually looks femaile for once. Let’s face it, she has a body like a horse, and normally puts one in mind of a transexual hooker with attitude…

Hey, at least the Obama cover doesn’t have him radiating light like so many of his pictures.

Even if that were true, we are called to speak the truth in charity, not to insult and ridicule our political enemies. There is plenty of reason to attack Barack Obama’s political positions and those of his wife (for that matter, there is plenty of reason to criticize Gov. Palin), but attacking them personally only makes the attacker look bad and cause others to take scandal.
As far as the photo of Gov. Palin is concerned, it is no more an example of “media bias” than Sen. McCain’s use of “that one” to refer to Sen. Obama is an example of racism. Compare it to Time’s cover photo of Newt Gingrich when he was named their “Man of the Year”:

Now that might be an example of media bias.

See above post about crying wolf on racism.
