Judas infamously sold out the Messiah for a mere thirty pieces for silver. Ace of Spades is seeking a Judas at the LA Times to do the same to their messiah for $25,000.
$20,000 $25,000 Reward for Obama/Ayers/Dohrn/Khalidi Tape
Dirty Harry suggests a benefactor can offer $100,000.
Well, I don’t know if one will step forward. I can guarantee, though, that if the goods are delivered the blogosphere can contribute $20,000. In a matter of hours.
Maybe more. More would depend on the tape.
This offer includes is particularly directed towards Los Angeles Times employees. Maybe ones that just got fired. Or will get fired in the next couple of weeks.
Guaranteed.
Anonymous.
That’s how we roll.
Pretty pathetic that we have to try to bribe “newsmen” to release newsworthy tapes…
One big difference though, I don’t think that their messiah turns the other cheek.

2 quick comments: FIRST, it almost goes without saying that there is such a tape (video or audio) of some damning indiscretion between Obama and one of his more unsavory acquaintances somewhere. And it very well could surface before the election next week. The fact that it NEEDS to is pretty sad though, since it underscores the fact that so many people are simply dismissive of these relationships as if they were merely youthful indescretions.
SECOND, I’d strongly caution you against your recent tendency towards hyperbole. So far on this blog, Obama has been compared to Hitler, Judas, the Devil, “pure evil” etc. I understand that when you do it, you are at times just having fun, but it really doesn’t help our cause at all. When you demonise someone, you dehumanise them, which means you forget that they, like all humans, are fallible sinners. Also, humans all have their weaknesses. Overlook this last sentence, and you will have lost an election…

The guy does advocate measures to prevent births in your population, and your abortion companies are trying to force laws in other countries to force abortion after two children- the rest of the world, including my own country need a McCain victory- your democrats are responsible for many deaths in our developing countries- they funded abortion…

Article two section d of the International declaration of what genocide is by the United Nations General Assembly.
All America doesn’t need now is a president who continues to interfere with families in our nations- sentiments are already rising about your country.
I at least know of the Catholic efforts there, and am not affected by this- but America needs a McCain victory more than you know!
American efforts to force laws on the Philipenes recently especially strike a chord.
God bless,
and truly pray for your nation, even with a republican victory, you truly need prayer in America- as we do in Africa!
And why isn’t there a Catholic party in such a large country?

Alas, the Catholic Party in this country is the Democratic Party. The Bishops have for decades appeared to be obedientiaries of the Party. Some few bishops are beginning to stand out bravely, though.

Deusdont,
I strongly caution you about intemperate comments based upon poor reading comprehension.
Exactly what or whom did I compare Obama to in this post that would serve to dehumanize him? I compared him a “messiah,” a label that has been used for this man by untold millions and which through clever photography the candidate himself has fostered.
How does comparing him to the messiah dehumanize him. A careful(no!), a close(no!) a cursory(yes!) reading of the post clearly illustrates that I did not compare Obama to Judas, but to Jesus.
Intemperate and rash commenters are so annoying they should be drawn and quartered. There, there is some hyperbole for you.

Patrick, I said ON THIS BLOG, not this particular post. I am Catholic enough to understand the 30-pieces-of-silver analogy and know who the key players are in the episode. My point stands. You reject it. Fine. But don’t whine “reading comprehension” when you’re the one clearly at fault there.
And I’ll say one more time; all hyperobole does in this case is distance potential rational-thinking moderates from voting McCain.

Deusdonat,
Please show me one reference where we compared Obama to Hilter.
Please show me one reference where we compared Obama to Judas.
Please show me one reference where we compared Obama to the devil.

dcs,
I don’t think so.
That post makes no mention of Hitler and talks about our own selfish complacency. That in no way qualifies as a hyperbolic Hitler comparison. The assertion is silly.

It is based on a well-known poem about the Nazi regime:

So, whether it was intended or not, I don’t think it’s unreasonable that people would think you were comparing Obama to Hitler.
