How does MSNBC think turkeys end up on their plates on Thanksgiving? In this humorous video of a turkey being slaughtered behind Sarah Palin after she ceremoniously granted one amnesty, MSNBC is horrified. Read the mocking words this alleged news organizations rolls under her. And in the end, despite this being a humorous incongruity the anchor obviously takes this video very very seriously. But once again the joke is on MSNBC. Are they so separated from reality that they don’t understand that turkeys have to be killed before it can end up sliced thin on their croissant?
Once again, while they mock Sarah Palin the joke is on the media. (Things get ugly about 2:30 in.)

The MSNBC types are the kind of people that eat tofurkey anyhow. Only the rubes still eat animal flesh…let alone do the killing themselves.

CNN did a third story on this last night on Anderson Cooper.

Get the kids out of the room? How protected do they want their kids to be from the realities of the world? As in, if you eat meat, it is from an animal that is killed somehow. This didn’t seem to be particularly brutal killing.
We raised pigs, killed them, butchered them, and ate them, and I never thought of trying to hid the killing from the kids. One year I raised 25 broilers, too, and my husband cut off their heads, and the kids saw that too; much less sanitized than that TV show. We did it because we didn’t have much money and because my husband worked in a restaurant and brought home plate scrapings, it was cheap to raise the pigs(plus they ate our scraps and weeds from the garden) and with the chickens I had a source of free stale bread in large quantities. And the kids knew that this was about having food to eat
All this sentimentality about animals… but it is ok to chop up human babies in the womb. Maybe there is some displacement going on, of what they won’t let themselves think about, on to a now socially acceptable recipient for sympathy .
Frankly this clip shows that Sarah Palin is sane and normal and lives in the real world, and they are the opposite and want to live in a fuzzy sentimental world divorced from reality.
