Alabama Gov. George Wallace stood at the door of Foster Auditorium at the University of Alabama in an attempt to block black students from seeking a better education.
Many believed Wallace was simply a political opportunist who sold out to the large and powerful voting bloc of racists.
2008 – A Democrat President is attempting to bar poor minority children’s access to better schools.
President Barack Obama is essentially barring the doors to Washington D.C.’s private schools in attempts to prevent many black students from seeking a better education by cutting their Opportunity Scholarships.
Many believe Obama is a political opportunist who is selling out to the large and powerful NEA.
The Democratic Party. Some things never change.

The school attended by Pres Obama’s daughters offers several type of financial aid, including the Washington DC Scholarship Fund (which will lose much of its Opportunity Scholarship Program, unless O pushes for its refundng). Ironic, hmm?
