This is the moment we have all been waiting for. The contest for the most destructive person in our culture started off with 64 hopefuls but comes down to the final two. A clear favorite coming into this contest, Barack Obama did not disappoint when he easily handled the ACLU to make it to the championship game.
In a stunning upset (at least for me) Oprah Winfrey also advanced taking down the traitorous dissenters of the Voice of the Faithful. While VOTF has been a strong contender all along, the consensus seems to be the extent of her reach and happy new age psychobabble makes her more destructive to the culture as a whole.
So there you have it. Your Championship. Barack Obama vs. Oprah Winfrey. May the worst person win!
Let the Voting Begin!

I had to go with Obama. Ultimately, Oprah is just a person on TV. Obama has an army, a navy, an Air Force, the Marine Corps, and soon a civilian paramilitary force. The potential for damage is far greater, and so too, I think, is the will to do harm.

Teleprompter vs. Television. In the end, there can be only one… uh oh, I hope that doesn’t mean the winner phagocytizes the loser’s powers of cultural putrefaction.

Wow, I’m kinda shocked. Personally, I would have liked to see Oprah face off against the ACLU. In the end, Oprah plays the pan pipe and preaches to the choir — the ACLU goes to the choir’s house and burns it down. They have more long term effect, IMHO.
I’d say Obama’s effect may be limited to 4 or 8 years, but he seems determined to make up for lost time. Others are worse, but he’s the one making it real. Gotta go with the O.

My vote settled on Oprah. While Obama has done quite a bit to destroy the culture in the short time he’s been in office, Oprah’s been at it much longer. Now if Obama had a Book of the Month club, then I probably would have voted for him.

It’s Oprah. Remember that it was on her show where the idea of B.O. becoming President first gained traction. She is the power behing the throne (wonder if Michelle knows?)

He’s dead right.
Oprah! Oprah! Oprah!

Oprah converts hearts on a deeper and longer-term level than Mr. Obama. She wins this awful contest.

I voted for Oprah. She’s bee aroudn longer and caused more harm – and she will probably still be around after Obama loses the 2012 election to … Huckabee? … Palin?

This is a tough one. I’m still mulling it over and trying to decide which one wins out. So many horrid reasons why both deserve to be left standing alone on the winners board.

Wow…that was harder than I thought!
Coming face to face with the two of them…eewwww…
I think the picture clinched it for me…Oprah.
The media dictates the conscience, morals and values of society – politics just can’t win this one…
What a crazy march to madness…

I’ve long said that the “Oprahization” of our culture is what is ruining us, so this was an easy choice. She is not as crude as the Jerry Springers of the world, but in a way that’s what makes her worse. By her tone she dupes people into thinking she is offering up useful advice, but in reality she is turning us into a nation of wimps who put emotion above thinking.

I had to go with Obama–he’s’ got his finger on the button, so to speak, and he sure seems bent on steering this country intoa very deep pit.

Hmm…. 12% of the American population is African-American, and yet 100%… no wait….75% of your final round picks of people destroying culture are African American. Clearly racists at CMR.

Obama can only steal our money, toss us in jail, and make our faith illegal. Beware, rather, the one who has power to corrupt the soul. Oprah will make us worse than merely afflicted, she can make us the inflicters.
