Taking money from a notorious baby-killer is one thing, but to lie about it? Shocking.
The pro-choice Catholic Governor of Kansas is now President Obama’s nominee to head HHS. She has had some difficulties and now they seem to have gotten worse. The AP is now reporting that Sebelius’ testimony to the Senate Finance Committee that the Governor was not entirely truthful.
President Barack Obama’s health secretary nominee got nearly three times as much political money from a controversial abortion doctor as she told senators.
The Health and Human Services Department said Monday that the omission was an oversight that Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius would correct.
In a response to questions from the Senate Finance Committee made public last week, Sebelius wrote that she received $12,450 between 1994-2001 from Dr. George Tiller, one of the nation’s few late-term abortion providers.
But in addition to those campaign donations, records reviewed by The Associated Press show that Tiller gave at least $23,000 more from 2000-2002 to a political action committee Sebelius established while insurance commissioner to raise money for fellow Democrats.
Sebelius did not tell senators about that additional money, although Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., asked specifically about any Tiller donations to her PAC.
Sebelius has already had difficulties in her nomination after joining a long list of Obama nominees who have amended their tax returns after an unfortunate “oversight.”
Might this may be the straw that breaks the camel’s back? Will Obama pull the nomination so that he does not continue to be punished with this baby? We shall see. I certainly hope so. I think it would be poetic justice for her nascent career to be brutally terminated right before it is born. Don’t you?

While her political career does indeed exhibit some ability to feel pain and can legally be called a political career, this entity is not viable without dubious campaign donations and therefore is not a political career on it’s own merit.
Obama should exercise his freedom to choose.

Stop these distractions from the Messiah’s agenda.
We must ignore this distraction and correctly label all who mention it as the right-wing hate mongers that they are.
Just a distraction.
