Look, I’m not sexist or anything but I am a man. A non-Perez Hilton kinda’ guy, if you know what I mean. So these ideas occur to me from time to time.
I’ve always dug conservative women. Even when I was a young atheist idiot liberal I always thought conservative women were just prettier and more self confident but I think the idea has now gained a national and undeniable prominence.
I’m starting to think conservatives are getting hotter than their liberal counterparts.
Just recently, Miss California came out against gay marriage. And just as the parasites from the left attack her, Angie Harmon defends Miss California.
Then just today I read that Kathy Ireland announces she’s pro-life.
And Janine Turner defends Sarah Palin like it’s her job.
And that’s just off the top of my head.
If I’m a liberal I’m starting to worry about the hotness gap.
I don’t know about you but I could kind of get into being a member of the hotter end of the political spectrum. I know. I know I’ve said before we shouldn’t be shallow about looks but that’s when I didn’t know we were hotter than the other side.
I mean we could come out with calendars kind of hot. Not swimsuits or anything but maybe some casual business wear. (I hear we could get Sarah’s old campaigning clothes pretty cheap. They’re practically giving them away!)
I mean it’s been great all these years telling the libs that we’re more moral than them but when we drop on them that we’re hotter, that’ll hit them where it hurts. Oh yeah.
I’m feeling so good about myself today that I’m goin’ struttin’.
If there are any female Catholic bloggers who would like to make a male list feel free. We’ll link to it. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.
Update: Pundette has lightheartedly taken us up on our offer.
Update II:S. Logan thinks it’s all about the “gumption.”

Yeah, I hear ya. Madeline Albright and Helen Thomas absolutely do nothing for me.

It's all that feminazi garbage the libs buy into. Go with that and the old lady stops wearing a bra, forgets about makeup, stops shaving her legs & pits (how French!), cuts her hair short, begins listening to Paula Cole CDs, the list just goes on.
A little bit of that would turn any chick into Broadzilla.

*Sigh*
This is the kind of sexist tripe that passes for Catholic “humor” that I’ve come to expect from CMR these days.
But, since you asked… I take the Girls with Guns over Former Nuns hellz yeah!!!!

Well, let’s take stock: WE have Laura Ingraham. But…we also have the frigid scarecrow.
THEY have a host of A-list celebrities in Hollywood. But, they also have Janine Garofalo.
I guess it’s a wash.

Even non-celeb conservative women have it well over their lib counterparts – Bill O’Reilly has known this for years and trots these very attractive (inside and out!) souls out on his show nightly

As a conservative woman, I agree with you 100% 😉

You’ve tempted me to stick my toe in the water, here.

My husband thinks so.

I was just talking to my fiance a few weeks ago about this. I grew up with a lot of catholic homeschooled friends and they were all gorgeous and talented and I thought it was a little strange, but now being out in the “real world”, its even weirder, because there is a very serious hotness/talent gap. And the conservatives (especially the catholic ones I knew lol) are coming out way on top 😉

And even so, God only looks at the heart. He is not interested in appearances.

Proverbs 31:30Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
Psalm 50:2Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone forth.

Okay guys, let’s think about this… conservative women typically value human life, fear and LOVE God, love their husbands/families, cherish those freedoms granted to us by our brave men and women in uniform, can think for themselves and not rely on being spoonfed… I could go on and on… and maybe you’d get the picture… but when you think about it, doesn’t all of this add up to one hot chick – and I’m not referring just to “physical beauty.” How about “intellectual” and “emotional beauty?” A woman who has “it all together” is far more attractive than a “physically beautiful woman” who has an empty soul and just repeats the liberal mantra.
I say this as a very straight woman…

This goes right along with one of Rush Limbaugh’s famous “undeniable truths” of life, about radical feminism. I don’t remember the exact wording, but I think it goes something like this:
“Radical feminism was created for the express purpose of giving unattractive women access to the mainstream of society.”
😉
(Yes, I know that that comment could be taken as VERY offensive, but I think he means it in a very tongue-in-cheek way — and there is clearly a grain of truth behind it as well.)

“And even so, God only looks at the heart. He is not interested in appearances.” Isn’t this sorta protestant/Gnostic?
Anyway, my theory: conservative women general smoke, drink and party much less than their lib counterparts, all of which take a severe toll. For instance, where I teach, most young ladies look like they just walked off the set of Dawson’s Creek. Lib women go south, so to speak, about age 22 when four years of college partying catch up with them.

I think liberal beauty has staying power. Who’s still hotter, Jane Fonda or Anita Bryant?
April 30, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Ann-Margret trumps them both.
April 30, 2009 at 8:46 pm
Yes.
April 30, 2009 at 9:43 pm
I’m not sure about this one. Does anyone know if Aishwarya Rai is a conservative?
April 30, 2009 at 9:55 pm
One person doesn’t matter. Aiswarya is a statistical anomalous outlier no matter where she is on the political spectrum.

“Hot” is really objectionable term. I have five daughters and if someone called any of them ‘hot,’ this father would get rather hot too.
