Remember when dear leader Presidente Obama said that America is not a Christian nation? I couldn’t imagine why he said that. (I had lots of theories) But now it’s clear. We’re a Muslim nation.
Oh.
According to The Caucus: “And one of the points I want to make is, is that if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world,” Mr. Obama said. “And so there’s got to be a better dialogue and a better understanding between the two peoples.”
Oh. I guess that explains it.

What's more silly is that we're not even one of the largest. If this article (http://www.weeklystandard.com/weblogs/TWSFP/2009/06/obama_america_one_of_the_large_1.asp) is correct, we barely make the top forty. And the eight million Muslims estimate he uses comes from (wait for it) Newsweek. Pew puts the number closer to three million. Doesn't anybody ever fact check this guy?

It's nice to know "O" will never let something so silly as The Truth stand in the way of his message.

I thought it was interesting that this comment came so soon after President Obama issued a resounding condemnation of the murder of George Tiller but was absolutely silent about the murder of an Army recruiter by a Muslim convert. I think his failure to equally condemn the murder of a military man can be attributed to not wanting to offend the Muslim sensibilities of the Middle East countries he was about to visit.

Okay…now I'm actually starting to wonder if I should have bought some of those tin hats…
…I pray my even-tempered-balanced-thinking-incredulous ilk is not about to suffer one of the biggest "I told ya so!" moments, ever.
June 3, 2009 at 7:26 pm
I'll say it… I freakin' told ya so to any Obama supporter who has the audacity to act surprised that their Messiah is like this. I can only have the hope that our Blessed Mother (whom this country is consecrated to her Immaculate Heart) protects us in the next three years so Obama doesn't totally ruin our country to the point that my children have nothing to inherit.

I wasn't an Obama supporter though. I just didn't think he was so rip-roaring crazy.
I voted Republican, for what it's worth. Palin is hot.

So what was that other people that needs to dialogue?
June 4, 2009 at 5:39 am
A quick search on Wikipedia reveals that there are about 2,350,000 Muslims in the United States. That is 0.8% of the population. This ranks us at 52th in total number of Muslims.
June 4, 2009 at 8:14 am
Having a "large" Muslim population (sheer numbers or percentage of population?) does not make a country a "Muslim country", any more than it makes the US a "Jewish" country, since they outnumber Muslims still here.
And make no mistake, while the US currently has a majority Christian population, it is not a Christian country. Never was. It was founded for the most part on ideals from the Calvinist heresy of the Puritains and Freemasonry. Within another 20 years all references to Christianity or the "Christian past" of those who founded the early colonies will be undetectable.

…I can only have the hope that our Blessed Mother (whom this country is consecrated to her Immaculate Heart)….
Say What!!????
Freemasons consecrated America to Satan; George Washington and Company. Here's a quote from one of the 'Patriots':
"The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as his father in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter."
—Thomas Jefferson, in an 1823 letter to John Adams
Patriotism begins and ends at the foot of the Cross. If a crucifix displayed offends your military, you are in the wrong military.
The Holy Mother made her appearance on this continent and it wasn't in the United States.
A little too much 'Boo rah!', maybe?
June 4, 2009 at 11:23 pm
Pablo nope. Just about the right amount of Boo-rah for this Catholic. well said. Wish more of you rational clear-headed thinkers would come to site like these.

Anonymous,
I was just teasing with the boo rah statement.
We all need to adjust our focus. I just wonder sometimes what some of my fellow Catholics have been smoking sometimes.
I am recording the Holy Rosary in spanish this weekend to place on my web site. The first step to Faith is prayer. Have you noticed there are no websites with a free recording of the Holy Rosary to download? I have one now, but it could be better.
What's the battle look like from your side of the trenches?

Pablo the battle looks to me like more Christians should be reading Sun Tzu if they ever want to win. Too many people on this blog place their hopes and dreams in the pretty faces or charismatic speakers they find in secular politics instead of staying within the One True Church (apparently, to them the church needs help from Mormons, heretics and others who may be "friendly" to our cause, regrdless of the fact that they thing we are in the whore of Babylon).
At Lepanto and Vienna, it was the Catholics (and to a lesser extent Orthodox) who banded together to defeat the infidel (no Protestants to be found). And they WERE defeated. If more Catholics don't take these lessons regarding abortion, Infidels, secularism etc instead of siding with our enemies to win a quick battle, then they can only blame themselves for continuing to lose this war.
Boo-rah.

"I don't go to anti-war rallies. I go to peace rallies."
Some people confuse peace with surrender.
I got thrown in jail for contempt once. I began to make the prisoners clean the place, scrub the porno off the walls, and did a chinese fire drill in the kitchen that helped the nutritionist pass county inspection after many years of trying. Then we set up shop and started writing motions for the guys who had no ability to do so for themselves; while guys were waiting for their paperwork to be written, they sat and listened to some catechism.
What got me tossed from good ole Joe's prison? We started a Holy Rosary prayer group. Seems the Freemason's can't stand to have their work dismantled by the Holy Mother.
They threw me out and told me never to come back.
Too bad; I kinda liked the place.
Battle on.
