Lawrence O’ Donnell is filling in for Chris Matthews on Hardball this week. O’Donnell’s clear insanity is not a problem there because the regular host is almost as insane. Almost.
But clearly insanity doesn’t stop O’Donnell from attempting to be clever with his words. (Being clever with words is what you and I call lying.)
Check out how this condescending jerk tries to fool this regular woman who spoke up at a healthcare rally. And then check out how this regular woman outs the lying punk.
O’DONNELL: Well do you believe the President when he says, if you like the health care plan, as you say you do, you can keep that health care plan? Is that something, when you hear it, you simply don’t believe it?
KATY ABRAM: I don’t believe it because I heard him say on a quote, on television, that, you know, it may take 5 or 10 years but we will move to a single-payer health, or single-payer-
O’DONNELL: He, Katy, he’s never said that. He has never said we will move to a single-payer plan.
ABRAM: I heard, I heard it on TV. I heard it on TV. I heard him saying it.
O’DONNELL: The President of the United States. Katy, the President of the United States has never said it.
ABRAM: This was a couple years-
O’DONNELL: Oh it was a few years ago?
ABRAM: It was like in 2002 or 2000-
O’DONNELL: Okay.
ABRAM: It was a couple of years ago. This wasn’t, it’s not since he was in office.
Did you catch what that smarmy punk was trying to pull there? “The President of the United States has never said it.” By that he means that Obama hasn’t said it in the past six months while in the Oval Office.
So now we’re not allowed to raise anything Obama said before he was in office because he wasn’t President then. Actually, that might really be how they think because candidate Obama and President Obama don’t see eye to eye on lots of things.
I know this isn’t a shock but these guys just aren’t playing fair. They plant people at townhalls with Nazi symbols. They call us un-American. They call us racists. They obfuscate and lie.
Someone’s got to ask them “Have you no shame? Have you no decency?”
Here’s the vid from Newsbusters.

I am beginning to appreciate "W" more and more as time passes by and people start to show their true selves. (Also, I'm going to make post about this and not wait until "W" dies before thanking him and letting him know my high regard for his honesty.)

Rick, that is a certainly true statement. Compared with President Obama, President Bush was a man of the highest integrity, intelligence, class and humility.

Maybe it's like the papacy: Obama didn't have the charism of infallibility until he became president…

What amazes me is that those of us that are "dumber than Joe the Plumber" actually know what's in the bill, have sections of it read to the point of memorized, and know our founding documents (e.g. bill of rights, constitution) and can cite them as needed. So is that the part that makes us dumb?
We're not toothless hicks afterall because many of us subscribe to private dental insurance, we're not blind racists because many of us have private visual insurance, and we can probably read in the first place because many of us either excelled at that abysmal government run education system, or had parents blessed to be able to put us in private educational institutions. Nope, the only thing that makes me "dumber than Joe the Plumber" is that I wasn't able to confront the President on Obamacare up close and in person!

"Someone's got to ask them "Have you no shame? Have you no decency?" "
Actually many of them don't. I'm talking about those folks with an "ends justifies the means" mentality. You've a better chance of finding virginity in a brothel.
Over three years left, it'll get a lot worse.

Wait a minute. What proof do you have that there are plants with Nazi symbols, other than your own reactionary, fanatic response to reality?
Might it actually be that there are people who aren't intelligent enough to register their health care complaints in a competent manner, ergo, they just spend their time being snide, loud, and dismissive toward Congressmen/Congresswomen presenting the health bill? I think there are plenty of those in the flyover states.
Lets face it, this issue is now about emotion more than facts.
Seriously, not everyone in America is smart enough to read all 1000 pages and present a intelligent argument against it. But then, these are the same people who think that fiscal conservatism needs to be linked to social conservatism to win elections. I think we can safely dump the Christian vote, since it's been "iffy" anyway (most Catholics and Evangelicals voted for Obama, after all…I suppose their God is money). They are also the same people who think Sarah Palin is a good candidate.
Feel free to complain and tell me I'm wrong. Pragmatism tells me I'm right.

I got proof that O said he plans to have a single-payer system. I copied the video in my blog.
