No, this has nothing to do with Tiger Woods.
Matthew and I have been struggling on how to report on an absolutely disgusting story. This horrific story involves President Obama’s Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings. What is most incomprehensible about this story is how Kevin Jennings still remains at the White House days after this story became public.
I will not get in to the gory details of what Jennings has advocated and done here on this site as it is just too disgusting. I will attempt to give a high level summary. I will quote heavily from the blog of the outstanding Gateway Pundit for he has spearheaded the release of this information and has even come under cyber attack for his troubles. Gateway says

GLSEN started essentially as Jennings’ personal project and grew to become the culmination of his life’s work. And he was chosen by President Obama to be the nation’s Safe Schools Czar primarily because he had founded and led GLSEN
Kevin Jennings, and the organization he founded has promoted child porn in the classroom and has sponsored and taught the most deviant sexual things you can imagine to children. Children!

I have sent this information to my own acquaintances with their utterly horrified reactions (and mine) that Kevin Jennings is not in jail let alone school safetly czar for promoting this kind of child abuse.
The buck stops with the President who, in this case, is endangering the morals and sexual safety of our children and youngsters by not immediately firing Jennings. I cannot believe that Jennings' septic background was hidden away from Mr. Obama, not with all the public sewage that GLSEN promotes to our most vulnerable group of people–our childen.
Not only should Jennings go, but this should close down any more academic discussion of homosexual practices in any format prior to the college level.

Observe how they were able to cover the incident without being disgustingly and unnecessarily graphic in their description of what was contained in this one stack of about 10 books mistakenly left out on one table at one conference in 2005.
As to why the book is so graphic, Fenway Health explains:
"The ''Little Black Book," produced by the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, is targeted at 18-and-older gay men, according to the committee. The book uses vivid descriptions and colloquial terms to describe the ways HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases can be prevented and spread."
Honestly. Why are you participating in this latest boondoggle by the Washington Times to smear Kevin Jennings?
I think it does the opposite of help your cause.

Craig, if you go to the GLSN website itself, there is a list of "recommended" books, which would also be considered highly questionable to say the least. If the Boston Globe wants to whitewash the contents of the books, so be it.

The GLSEN booklink section clearly states in red type: "All BookLink items are reviewed by GLSEN staff for quality and appropriateness of content. However, some titles for adolescent readers contain mature themes. We recommend that adults selecting books for youth review content for suitability. The editorial and customer reviews listed at Amazon.com often provide information on mature content."

All the Times has is 5+ year-old reporting about some shenanigans that went on at a couple of GLSEN conferences.
They have no proof that Jennings condoned/approved/actively participated in any of this "fistgate" nonsense.
In other words, they have jack diddly squat on Jennings and just are regurgitating old news and hyping it up with explicit details so it seems new and shocking.

With all due repect "old" or not it is still disgusting. My job as a parent is to protect my kids and raise them with morals which is hard enough in this day and age. Do you really think that "shenanigans" like this should be ok? Weather Jennings condoned it or not he sure doesn't come out against it either. And if you say that is not just as bad as approving remember that all evil needs is for "good men to do nothing".
And for the record before you try to give me the "homophobic" moniker, I do not hate or fear homosexuals (my brother in law is gay) but I do not feel that ANYONE should be able to corrupt childhood innocence. They have the right to be kids and not bombarded with sexual images and content all the time.

I'm so glad this is finally being covered! For some reason, the Boston Globe which never met a priest abuse case it didn't extensively report on couldn't be bothered covering Fistgate nor the fact that the Massachusetts Legislature placed a gag order on itself to not discuss this topic when the debate for continued Gay and Lesbian Youth Council funding came up.
By the way, it's no small coincidence that Massachusetts had same-sex marriage forced on its population by its Supreme Court.

Read carefully what the page says about MassResistance. MassResistance allegedly goes FAR BEYOND disagreeing with homosexual activity. Moreover, the Southern Poverty Law Center does not throw around the label "anti-gay hate group"–it applies the label very deliberately and carefully.
