You watch a television commercial for a medicine that cures something simple like a runny nose and there is a telethon of side effects said in quick speak that they’re legally bound to mention. But a surgery to remove and destroy a human being in a woman’s womb and we’re supposed to believe that has absolutely no side effects?
Today, Americans United for Life (AUL) filed an amicus brief in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, detailing the links between abortion and the increased risk of depression and suicide. The brief seeks to overturn a lower court’s decision that abortion providers in South Dakota are not required to inform women of these risks.
“Abortion is not a safe choice for women,” noted Dr. Charmaine Yoest, President of AUL, “and the mounting evidence of its negative physical and psychological impact cannot be ignored. We have a legal and moral responsibility to inform them about the well-documented, increased risks of depression and suicide associated with abortion.”
In June 2005, Planned Parenthood filed suit against a newly-enacted South Dakota law requiring abortion providers to inform women that abortion increases the risk of suicide, that women have an existing relationship with an unborn child, and that abortion terminates “the life of a whole, separate, unique, living human being.” Later, in August 2009, a federal district court invalidated the first two requirements, but permitted the requirement that women be told that abortion ends a human life to be enforced.
AUL Attorney Mailee Smith explained, “In challenging this law, Planned Parenthood has demonstrated – yet again – that it is not a defender of women’s health. If this were the case, Planned Parenthood would fight for laws that protect women rather than advocating for laws that attempt to hide risks from them.”
Several studies have indicated higher rates of depression and suicide but they’ve been ignored by so-called women’s advocates.
It always seems to be the case that pro-aborts constantly call conservatives anti-science while we’re the ones who want to utilize the latest technology to show women what’s in their womb and publicize studies which show possible side effects of abortion.
Pro-aborts can only keep the truth hidden for so long. They know the clock is ticking so their efforts will become increasingly outrageous and manic. Keep watchin’.

Remember, PP is the same bunch that also pushes for laws that require Pregnancy Centers like Birthright & CareNet have signs up outside the building stating they do not provide abortions.

When we lost a baby last year, the OB told me it was best if I could pass all the placental tissue on my own– a D&C could have effects on future pregnancies and increase the risks of complications and even miscarriages……
YET when the same surgery is performed on a woman who is STILL PREGNANT and removes a living baby and a functioning placenta, it is side effect free?
Right. That makes total sense. I asked a Dr. friend about the conflict– he said the difference is that OBs see the same patients over many years and care about their long term health— abortionists don't do follow-up, so as long as the baby is dead they declare the surgery a success…….
Abortion– a private decision between a woman and a sleazeball who makes his money by slaughtering children and carving up mothers……

Deirdre's comment renders the issue perfectly.
Remember the rule of thumb at work here, folks: if it goes against unrestrained, consequence-free sex it. MUST. be. wrong.

I had a D&C after we lost our first . . . and I still believe to this day it damaged my cervix and that's why I had to have C-sections. Just an inkling of a feeling . . . Deirdre's comment is cementing my belief. No one then said anything but that "we separate the appointments: in the morning it's the mother's who are losing their babies; in the afternoon it's the women who want to end their pregnancies." No complications were ever laid bare for me.
It's all so wrong.

Some cholesterol meds got pulled off the market a few years ago because of possible side effects to a miniscule portion of users. They couldn't yank 'em fast enough. If you check out various meds such as Delsym you'll discover anyone under four is now discouraged from taking them for the same reason.
But abortions go on and on with no suggestions of harm.
Moloch must be weeping with joy.

Abortion truly hurts. Just read the poem written by Allison Townsend talking about her abortion. I found it in this article
