I am overwhelmed. What is more is that I would be committing the grave sin of ingratitude to God if I did not state how thankful I am.
As many of you know, my brother Kevin is struggling now with incurable brain cancer. This has not changed and we continue to ask for you prayers for a great miracle of healing!
But today, while I can’t go into much detail, I must report that we were granted a great great mercy by God that looked impossible just days ago. But we prayed and we prayed and a situation that looked irreversible was unexpectedly and miraculously reversed and so thanks must be given. I am overwhelmed by God’s mercy.
Perhaps I will write more about this when the time is right, but what I witnessed today is a great miracle for which my family and I will be forever grateful to God!
I must also say thank you to everyone who is praying for my brother. We are so grateful for your prayers and ask that you please continue. Our God is a God of miracles. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Blessed are you, Lord God:
Blessed are you for ever.
Holy is your name:
Blessed are you for ever.
Great is your mercy for your people:
Blessed are you for ever.
Amen!

Praise be to God!
We continue to pray and are asking everyone we know to pray for your brother. A friend suggested prayers to Sister Marie as well:
http://www.sistermarie.com or http://www.holyfaceofjesus.com.
Sister Marie (whose cause looks like it will be officially opened soon) has had many "terminal" cancer healings. Her prayer can be said daily, the card (or printout) can be held to the affected area of the body and many say a Rosary along with it. Keep praying.

Is there a saint in particular who your family prays to for intercession?

This past year, my family and I experienced God's mercy and His healing power through prayer in a profound way. My prayer for you and your family is that you will know that same mercy. God is good – even in the most dire situations.
You are surrounded in prayer!!
