Today is not the Feast of St. Joseph the worker, it's a celebration of St. Joseph as the Foster Father of Jesus. What a nut. If she's going to invoke the faith, she needs to at least do a little research first, I mean COME ON!

Jonathan, I'm glad someone else picked up on that! 6 week old children talking about healthcare?? REALLY, Nancy?? That clip made me want to vomit- The most chaste spouse of Our Dear Lady being exploited by that woman… She really is the Crypt Keeper!!
Blame the Holy Father for one woman's scandal, heresy, and abuse of the Faith? No, thank you. I'll blame Nancy. She's the one who has persisted in heresy even with correction. Perhaps now is the time it has gone far enough that her *local bishop* should take steps towards excommunication. Last I checked, the principle of subsidiarity is still in force in our Church.
Don't believe what the media is telling you about Pope Benedict XVI. You know they are not on the side of Truth. God bless and keep our Holy Father.
Dear Madam Speaker,
I regret to inform you that today is not the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, but of St. Joseph, Spouse of the Virgin Mary and Protector of the Holy Family. While we do ask his intercession over those that work on May 1st, today we ask for his intercession to protect babies from being killed by the government.
All I can say is a) my money is on the fact that she is in fact an atheist and b) the church must have her scared witless for her to keep invoking Saints, nuns, and other Catholic imagery to play up to Catholics in this country.
To Alexandra Fenaughty:
How right you are. Here is a woman who in the recent past touted herself as a self-styled expert on Catholic theology, yet doesn't know the difference between the feasts.
Thanks, Sister Mary Albert, wherever you are: I learned the difference in 4th grade!

The despicably sad thing is, should this bill pass, she'll give thanks to St Joseph's intercession.

Ummm….does she not know that today is NOT the feast of St. Joseph the Worker? It is the solemnity of Joseph, the husband of Mary.

This is…no words can express the blasphemy against my patron saint

St. Joseph please intercede for us and do not allow this to pass!

Pelosi's actions are monstrous. To invoke any saint to support the culture of death is simply diabolical.

You've inspired me to blog about this. It's sickening when people twist Catholic teaching to promote their agendas.
