This is funny stuff. Thanks to Marcel from Mary’s Aggies who beat us to this video and then sent us a pity email to say something like “Scooped you suckas.” Or maybe he was just being nice.

Thank goodness this comes from one of those feel good prosperity gospel churches and not a Catholic source. It's a great video portraying the worldliness of suburban non denominational dopey dads shown in t.v., movies, etc. Just more proof of why fatherhood as a vocation is lost on this society.

While I didn't LOL I see no reason condemn the video let alone judge the motives of those who made it. Can the rest of us vote "traditionaltroubleshooter" off the island?

I think some people are missing the point here – these men are commenting on popular culture which values money, scantily clad women and cars. Possibly, these guys valued these things before marriage and children. Now, their quest for accumulating wealth is replaced by caring for their family. The bikini gals are replaced by their daughters (in one piece swim suits!) at the splash pad. Their fancy cars are replaced by mini-vans. I'd say that this is a pretty good commentary on what fatherhood looks like in today's culture…and it was hilarious too!

I agree with happymomonline. These are good dads! And they are laughing at themselves, which is great. I'm sending it to every dad I know.
