I know that common interests are supposed to help a marriage but in this case…maybe it went a little far.

Most couples would hope to feel like superheroes on their wedding day – but this pair went the extra mile and dressed up like them.
Sharon and Neil Vaughan decided to marry as Wonder Woman and Batman because they love wearing fancy dress.
And if you are wondering what happened to the caped crusader’s sidekicks – Robin and the Joker were the best man and master of ceremonies.Mrs Vaughan, 40, in red corset, blue hotpants, boots and a tiara and veil, made her entrance to the Wonder Woman theme tune.
Her bridesmaids came as the PowerPuff girls while other guests included Superman, the Incredibles, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk and Captain America.
I was always rooting for Wonder Woman and Batman to get together but now that it happened I feel strangely deflated.
I wish them the best but you’ve got to wonder.

I always expected batman to get it together with catwoman… the original series characters, naturally. Batman and wonderwoman just doesn't seem quite right…

Personally, I think it was quite sweet of Rorschach to show up, though I pity whomever got stuck sitting with him at the reception. I don't really want to know what he brought as a gift either.

Well, they marreid within their faith tradition – DC Comics. Although I did see mention of few Marvel guests.

What fun! Even people who aren't fans of the comic pairing have to admit that it was a gutsy and unique ceremony. Kudos to them for keeping it new and lighthearted. I know most of my friends can't even remember the ceremony b/c of all the stress and such. Sometimes it feels like the wedding is more for the guests than the bride and groom. Somehow I think that's not an issue here.
