My mother watches America’s Got Talent and she told me I had to check out this little girl. I think she’s ten. This little girl has a voice that blew me away. (I told you about my mother telling me about it so people wouldn’t think I watched America’s Got Talent.) Check it out. It’s pretty amazing.
And for all you ol’ school Catholics out there–Check out what young Jackie Evancho sang for her AGT youtube audition! Panis Angelicus! Awesome.

Really looks like she's lip-syncing in that video due to sync issues. This one is better quality:

and people were celebrating the amazing voice of Charlotte Church about 10 years ago when she was only 14!

I was going to say she is reminiscent of Charlotte Church. She has an amazing rich quality to her voice.
My 10 year old thought the clip was "creepy", but then what does she know, she's 10 and has her father's taste.

This little girl has a lovely, rich, adult voice. Charlotte Church never sounded anything like this. DELIGHTFUL!!

When she gets older, I hope she does play Christine in The Phantom…pretty amazing voice. Really hope she doesn't become some Brittany Spears type…

Charlotte Church is a bad enough example; I hope she doesn't follow in Church's shoes.

Hey, I know her family! She lives here in Pittsburgh, PA. My mom belongs to the same parish as her aunt (a talented watercolor artist).
I can tell you that this little girl comes from a large and loving extended Catholic family. I can't imagine that she'd ever follow in Charlotte Church's footsteps. We should keep her in our prayers though. The entertainment biz is a tough environment.

I believe she is homeschooled.

She is far above Ms. Church…Amazing… And yes, let us hope she is not seduced by the world as she grows older as Ms. Church has. I pray Ms. Church returns home…

Her voice is lovely and it definitely is huge. That having been said, WHAT IS HER VOICE TEACHER THINKING?! I don't care how long she's been training or how big her voice is, 10 year olds should not be singing opera! It can seriously damage their still developing vocal chords. Even undergraduate vocal performance majors don't start singing opera right away. Young singers must start with art songs, not arias! She already has many bad habits on which her teacher should be focusing… not giving her big arias. I will pray for her too that she not be crushed by the career she is looking at going into, as well as praying that she says healthy and that her voice is not damaged.
