You know how the federal government always says that while they support Planned Parenthood with millions of bucks you shouldn’t worry because none of that money goes to abortion. What a horrible joke that is. And we all know it.
New Jersey’s Governor Chris Christie proved that’s a lie just this week. Mind you, I still don’t trust Christie’s pro-life conversion but he did a great thing by pulling millions in funding from Planned Parenthood. He argued that it was for fiscal reasons but who cares why, he did it because now Planned Parenthood is shutting down clinics in New Jersey.
CBN reports:
A New Jersey Planned Parenthood office is closing its doors forever after Gov. Chris Christie cut state taxpayer funding to the abortion giant — and the state senate failed to over-ride his decision.
The Cherry Hill, N.J. office is operated by Planned Parenthood of Southern New Jersey. It stands to lose as much as $160,000 in taxpayer funds, because of Christie’s decision.
“We applaud the senators who voted ‘no’ to override Governor Christie’s veto of S2139,” Marie Tasy, head of New Jersey Right to Life, told LifeNews. “This debate was never about health care. It is about advancing a political agenda and rewarding friends and a radical special interest group with our tax dollars.”
“We commend Governor Christie for his steadfast opposition to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse and for working to promote the best health care for all NJ citizens,” she added.
Here’s the thing. I know this is really hard to understand but giving millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood allows them to stay open and that means more abortions. Oh wait, it’s actually not that hard to understand. In fact, it’s pretty much common sense.
There’s just no reason Planned Parenthood should be receiving millions of dollars in taxpayer money. I don’t care whether we argue that it’s for socially conservative reasons or fiscally conservative reasons let’s follow the example of Chris Christie all around the country and defund Planned Parenthood.

'defund Planned Parenthood' From your mouth to God's ears. Amen.

Lets defund Planned Parenthood and use the money to increase funding for foster care and adoption services.
Its supposed to be all about the 'un-wanted' children, right?

All plan parenthood facilities should be closed down. Everybody should follow the Pope and Catholic Church. Governments and all other religions should also all be close down!! Buddhist, Hindus, Muslims, etc are stupid religions anyway.

All butcheries of children should be closed down, because they are just that.

Patrick – done and DONE. However, I don't think this will shut her up. She'll troll someone else's account. Post-partem often makes women react in strange ways.
September 26, 2010 at 3:47 am
@ Early Riser – GOD has taught us that degradation of women is okay within the church (since there no way a V can become a priest) and all church going people should be taught this. Women will never, ever be equal to men, no matter how much they try!! They are by nature inferior human beings. The Bible teaches us this and don't you for get it. Praise the LORD!
September 26, 2010 at 7:19 am
Men and women ARE equal, just different, neither is inferior. Men can do some things better than women and vice versa. Women do not have to belittle men to prove some ersatz superiority–neither do men. God has provided a pair of creatures to complement each other, not compete. Those who feel they MUST be considered "better than" another are mostly showing their feelings of inadequacy or have been misled by some secular propaganda.
September 26, 2010 at 3:38 pm
@ Anonymous; Clearly men and women are not equal in the eyes of the Church. Only men can be priest and leaders of the Church's. Women are relegated to nuns. But as you say, women don't have the qualities to be leaders of the Church, therefore they are prohibited. This is so true! Women's qualities are better suited for staying at home and raising the child.

I was reading this morning in the 40 Days for Life about praying and fasting to address the demonic as a serious part of the whole abortion movement. Please, God, give us the broken hearts that are needed to see evil as the destruction of all that is good, true, and beautiful – even people who masquerade. In Your mercy, Father, lead all souls to repentance, especially those in most need of Your mercy.

The only movement to counteract the dictatorship of relativism is the dictatorship of love, to “love one another as I have loved you”.
Roe v. Wade the 1973 Supreme Court decision legalizing procured abortion, abortion on demand, never was and is not now about saving human life. Many people use the argument that: “abortion on demand is necessary to save the life of the mother”. Not one abortion on demand ever saved the life of the mother.
Justice is predicated on intent. Every procured abortion legalized by Roe v. Wade was intended to destroy the human being, alive and growing inside the womb. ROE V WADE NEVER SAVED THE LIFE OF ONE MOTHER. ROE V WADE WAS NEVER INTENDED TO SAVE THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER. ROE V WADE WAS NEVER INTENDED TO BE THERAPEUTIC ABORTION THAT SAVES THE LIFE OF A MOTHER. 4,000 dead babies a day because the Supreme Court for the United States of America miscarried Justice and lied to us, all the people. 4,000 dead babies a day because we have been lied to and extorted to pay for the bloody mess.
When the pro-abortion lobby tells us that abortion to save the life of the mother is safe, legal and necessary, tell them that therapeutic abortion to save the life of the mother is not an issue in Roe v. Wade. Procured abortion on demand, never has been and never will be. The difference between a therapeutic abortion and a procured abortion is that the therapeutic abortion is willed by God and the procured abortion is willed and procured by another. A therapeutic abortion, SUCH AS A TUBAL PREGNANCY, is caused by default in the process of life and the conception of life. The procured abortion is intended to and is the destruction of a perfectly formed and conceived human being following the laws of nature and nature’s God for any and all ill conceived notion. One is willed by God, the other is willed for no good reason against the common good on the basis of corrupt laws. A therapeutic abortion cannot be a procured abortion. By its very nature and definition as well as by its completion, a therapeutic abortion cannot be a procured abortion, that is, an abortion contracted to end the life of an unborn human being. The end justifies the means if the end is Justice.
Therapeutic abortion to save the life of the mother is the LIE, devised to deceive, extort, and destroy America out of our money, our dignity and our heritage.
We cannot stop abortionists from going to hell, but we sure as hell do not have to go with them.

NOT KNOWING WHERE TO POST THIS COMMENT…Taxes are the possession of the taxpayer even while they are administered by the administration, our government. This is legal precedent. Donations to the Catholic Church belong to the donor, the parishioner, even while they are being administered by the parish. Have you not seen the plaques under the stained glass windows or on pews? The donations belong to the donors even while they are administered by the church.
ADD TO THE LIST OF CLAIMANTS THE DONORS TO THE DIOCESE OF WILMINGTON AND THE PARISHES, THEIR TAX EXEMPT, TAX FREE, DONATIONS AS REVEALED IN THEIR IRS AND TAX DEDUCTIBLE CLAIMS FOR AS LONG AS THE CLAIMS OF THE CLAIMAINTS OF ALL.
Donations are tax free, that is, not taxable. This is why church property is not taxable, because it is established with the not for taxable, not-for-profit FREE WILL DONATIONS, gifts of the people who love God. DONATIONS, GIFTS, AND PRESENTS ARE TREATED DIFFERENTLY THAN PROPERTY IN DIVORCE AND OTHER SETTLEMENTS. Why are gifts and donations to God being treated as contraband, plunder in the lawsuit against the Diocese of Wilmington?
This is settled law, something Neuberger, the attorney handling the lawsuit for the plaintiffs should know of and doesn’t.

Of course the troll is incorrect. Men are Women are absolutely equal in the church. Women are not "relegated to just being nuns". Nuns have an incredibly important pastoral place in the church. Often in developing countries, nuns are the first and only contact lay people will have with religious. They are our "front guard" in the church.
Troll, get the behind me. And get a life. Are you really that miserable? Post partem really getting you that crazy?

Ever notice that when progressives attempt reductio ad absurdum it's always a big bucket of fail?
September 27, 2010 at 5:00 am
honestly, romish graffiti, I'm with you, but surely you don't think that trolls or self-styled progressives know what reductio ad absurdum is?
If they were critical thinker, philosophers, or even clear-thinkers, they'd be Catholic…
I doubt they could state any logical fallacies let alone recognize one. kim

Oh this is disgusting all trolls, progressives and reductio ad absurdum should be sentenced to death! Helen
