I sometimes wonder if Joy Behar, Keith Olbermann and CNN anchor Kyra Phillips are in a contest to say the most outrageously anti-Christian statement each day. Well, today CNN anchor Kyra Phillips may have won.
Check out the bias in her questions:
Al Kresta labeled it the most “outrageous statement of the day” and I must agree.

What's really annoying is that she doesn't ask a simple question and wait for her guest to answer. As an earlier commenter said, she preached a mini-sermon.

@ anon: you're probably just as stupid as the wench from CNN. Read the Bible, God punishes the stupid ones. The ones who don't believe.

Seriously? There's nothing sinful about being homosexual or having sex as a homosexual, and comparing it to alcoholism defies logic. There is, however, something wrong with a church that doesn't understand its history and the context of its scriptures. Try again.

Anonymous,
Of course there's something sinful about homosexual behavior, being contrary to the Divine and natural law.
Even if you could explain away all the scriptural references to homosexuality by making reference to "historical context", this would not change the natural law. Neither would it change the teaching of the Church, which depends not on some arbitrary interpretation of obscure scriptural texts, but on the Apostolic Faith transmitted within the church through the ages and confirmed by the constant teaching of the Magisterium. You're not talking to Protestants here, who rely on personal scriptural interpretation for their condemnation of homosexual behavior.

@ anonymous 5:20: Many sects of the Church fought hard and strong to keep the establishment of slavery. Behind every KKK group was a strong Southern church and preacher. But even if the Bible condones slavery and the oppression of women doesn't mean it's right. And yes, women are inferior to men, but that doesn't mean they are less equal as the bible would like one to believe was true 2000 years ago. More and more kids believe homosexuality is okay. Just like the youth of yesterday believe slavery is wrong and women should be treated equally, but their parents didn't. It's the generational shift.
