Can we all (especially those in the media) agree not to call it "Lou Gehrig's Disease?" It has a proper medical name now–ALS. There are now a couple of generations who probably have no idea who Lou Gehrig was. And shouldn't Gehrig be known for more than just having the bad luck to contract a fatal illness? Seems to me he's in the Baseball Hall of Fame for some other reason!

We cannot all agree.

Courage comes from the word "cour" heart, the symbol of love. Love makes people brave, unafraid of pain. I guess that is what made the Lord Jesus carry and accept that torture of choking and bleeding to death on a cross. He loved the heavenly Father who loved us just like the girl who sacrificed for her coach.
