The culture war seems to be operating on an unsuspected new front. While many pro-lifers have been focused on mothers not killing babies in the womb, a staggering new scientific study indicates that incidences of parents killing their newborn babies is five times higher than previously believed.
It’s all the rage.
Come on, you can’t be surprised, can you? You didn’t think a little thing like birth would stop people from killing their babies did you? Seriously, why should the much heralded “choice” end just because the baby is lying on a table rather than in the womb?

Well put, sir. It is a perfect picture of human blindness. Undoubtedly we will march forward towards infanticide in "plain-view" with the absolute glowing approval of a godless and life hating culture.

It is profound how you use the words for your title, "Post-natal Abortions." It betrays the transition from abortion to infanticide and exposes sin for what it is…one big slippery slope. Excellent post.

Nope. Not surprised. Wouldn't consider this news either – the moral divide is larger than the Grand Canyon.
We are no better than France. On November 3, 2008 America voted for the first pro-post-natal-abort president. And there are still useful idiots out there thinking he's the messiah.

When Mary was pregnant with Jesus, she felt him move in her womb. Every woman who has ever carried a child has felt that movement. At some point Mary knew without a doubt that she was never alone. Every woman who has ever carried a child knows that too. When Jesus was born, Mary felt his soft skin and wiggly nature. Every woman who has ever given birth has felt the same thing: the soft cheek, the warm toes, the clutch of the little hand, the gentle gurgle and cry for every pleasure and every need.
Every woman feels these things. Mary felt them, and knew they were of God. What does a woman know who kills her child before or after birth?
So much denial of what is good and true and real. May God forgive us all.

I just don't understand it. When my kids were babies and I looked into their eyes, I saw heaven and felt something which is good beyond my ability to describe. How can anyone look into the eyes of their own tiny baby and not only not feel that but then go and hurt them?
