Some are speculating that a horseman of the apocalypse can be seen at about 1:20 into this video. So either it’s a lens flare or we’re all doomed.
Good news is that we know that the world’s not supposed to end until 2012 so we’re like totally fine, I think. Bad news is that if I were one of the horsemen Egypt might just be where I’d show up right now.

That's freaky.
My mom-mom always prayed that she would live to see the second coming. She's 85, so I'm thinking if God's going to grant that to her, how much longer can she have to wait?

Huh, so I missed the other three at some point?
Doggone it!
Or maybe this was the first one and the others are coming in 2012. That's probably it. He's just early.

The image was reflected off of a glass pane. It is so obviously fake. You can see the other reflections marks follow the horse.

Superstitious nonsense. What did the Mayans know anyway? They were a bunch of pagans.

If I were a Mayan carving a calendar into stone thousands of years in advance, I think I would get tired of carving after a while too… Maybe leave the rest of the calendar for future generations to finish. For all the modern archaeologists know, the Mayan calendar doesn't end, but there are more calendars floating around–maybe the inscription at the bottom of the tablet was lost that said "for the rest of calendar, turn tablet over."

Anon, 8:50.
Maybe it says something that I found in my college math textbooks:
"The rest is left as an exercise for the reader."

I've always liked this explanation for the Mayan calendar.
