If you read the linked essay, the author never reveals his or her gender. And yes, it is the same zombie from zombietime. And yes, I also suspect that zombie is female.

@the last Anonymous Bible proof texter, you show breathtaking, profound ignorance of Scriptural exegesis and not a bit of familiarity with how Christians think or believe, save perhaps the most radical fundamentalists (e.g., the Westboro Baptist Churchers) whom nobody would name as representative of Christianity. I honestly have no idea where to even begin with your selective quoting, as every single passage you cite is out of context completely (e.g., wives' submission is followed immediately by "husbands love your wives" and talks of loving one's bride like Christ loves His bride, the Church, i.e., laying down your life for your bride). But the more important point that you clearly have never heard or been exposed to is that Christ is the New Covenant–the Old Covenant laws applied (apply, in theory) to the Jewish people, who reject Christ as the Messiah. Christ stamps "paid" to any and all requirements of the Old Covenant and ushers in a New Covenant sealed in His sacrifice for us all.
Yikes! This is 'Exhibit A' that a tiny bit of knowledge about something can make somebody profoundly dangerous/more ignorant.

@ Kevin in Texas. Yes, TODAY Christians believe as you say regarding Slavery and not Oppressing Women (except in the ranks of the Catholic Church, women are still discriminated against), but not many years ago behind every KKK clan there was a preacher. And he used these verse to justify slavery, just as many preachers are using Bible verses to condemn homosexuality. Years from now, Christians will be saying we NEVER condemned homosexuality, those verses are from the Old Testament, not the New. Yadda,Yadda, Yadda. How easy is it to condemned today, and quickly forget about our past condemnations. Ignorance is bliss, innit?
