Planned Parenthood’s YouTube channel is featuring two self identified pro-lifers pleading for government funding of Planned Parenthood.
To me, it’s just two more Democrats doing their best to remind everyone there’s no such thing as an elected pro-life Democrat. Like Bigfoot and Nessie, it’s just a myth. Sure, sometimes people report seeing one or hearing one. But it’s either a sham, a scam, or just imaginary.
Watch as these two self identified pro-life Dems plead for funding for their Planned Parenthood overlords all while promising that none of the hundreds of millions go to funding abortion- because they’re against that, you know.
Remember, pro-life Dems don’t want to subsidize abortion, just abortionists.
Update: The second guy is actually an R. My mistake. He’s still completely disingenuous about being pro-life. But he’s an R who’s disingenuous about being pro-life.

Sickening. Now, I think we can all agree…knowingly lying that PP will not use the money for abortions is DEFINITELY immoral…

Statutory funding. Given the opportunity to commit abortion, has already, and may be accused of abortion. No questions asked. Precedent

The script under the picture says Rep. Robert Dold, 'R' Illinois.
February 23, 2011 at 4:58 am
It's an "R" in wolves clothing.

There's nothing disingenuous about this.
It is possible to support some of what PP does, while still opposing abortion. PP is, after all, the largest provider of gynecological services in the US and I know A LOT of young women who go there for pap-smears and check-ups simply because they don't make a lot of money and PP is the low cost provider.
The answer, of course, is simply to institute a single-payer health-care system so that people are not forced to go to the low cost provider.

Not only is Representative Dold a Republican, but a Tea Party-endorsed Republican. I thought they were about budget cutting lousy programs.

This week, I saw Bill O'Reilly comenting an email that he received in which the person said that Planned Parenthood is good because it helps to prevent teenage pregnancy.
I got frustrated when O'Reilly did not remember the persson that his policy is killing someone, because, extrapolating just a littel the argument, killing could be a policy to preevnt any human problem.
O'Reilly is a pro-life guy, to the extent that I know. You could coment this, Archbold.
About pro-life democrat, forget. As you said, bigfoot or a Martian has more chance to exist.

The Dutchman, PP is the low-cost provider because of government money. Give the money to a different organization that doesn't also provide abortion, one that provides gynecological services without killing babies or handing out condoms or the pill like candy.
Split PP into two separate entities – Attempted Sterility: provides contraceptives and abortion. Gynecologists-R-Us: provides STD testing, pap smears, routine check-ups. Require a complete separation…no sharing of office space or personnel. No cross-organization donations.
Even then I'd have a problem in that G-R-Us would probably refer patients to AS. But at least the funding portion would truly be separate. And if the government money really is strictly kept away from the abortion side of things, both organizations should survive just fine. Right?

Pedro, O'Reilly is not pro-life. He's for limiting it some I believe. But he's not pro-life.

It should be noted that (D) Rep. Lynch is Catholic. He's a "pro-life" "Catholic" who supports Planned parenthood… and the silence of the bishops is deafening.

Thanks, Matthew
Last year, I saw O'Reilly talking against a Doctor who made a lot of abortions, then I think that he is a pro-life Catholic (this should be a pleonasm), but he is just a bad Catholic.
I read once that when St. Bernadette was asked who she was most afraid. She answered: "Bad Catholics".
Best,
Pedro Erik

Rep. Dold is NOT "anti-choice." That is simply a falsehood on the video's part. He claims to be "pro-choice," and a "social moderate."

Bob Dold is the Congressman in the district next to mine. He ran on a pro-choice platform, while saying that he opposed federal funding of abortion.
Dold is not pro-life.

The Dutchman isn't pro-abortion. He's just pro-abortionist.

"Not a penny of federal money is used to pay for abortion services at Planned Parenthood or any other Title 10 provider in this state," said Steve Trombley of Planned Parenthood.

So basically, those who want to take away funding for Planned Parenthood are against the organization simply because they offer services that some people disagree with? If it's that easy to take away funding from things, how about we cut all funding of private contractors working in Iraq? After all, they basically support rape on a massive scale, and I disagree with that. You know what, let's take away funding from the WHOLE U.S. ARMY. They support killing, and I morally object to that! Hell, taking away funding from the armed forces would cut down our debt significantly, and yet, I haven't heard that proposed anywhere.
