AveMaria111 writes: “A pro-abortion “Walk for Choice” rally was held in downtown Chicago’s Daley Plaza on Saturday, February 26, 2011. Participants of the “Walk for Choice” were protesting HR Bill 3 which limits taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood. As a response to the “Walk for Choice,” anonymous teens and young adults organized a “Pro-Life Flash Mob” over the span of a few days. The goal of the event was not to counter-protest, but to give a positive message of joy and life to Chicago.”
I’d bet the pro-aborts were more than a little surprised.

This isn't a flash mob. Glad they came out but it's not a flash mob.

No, it was more than a flash mob. The gospel of life being spread by youth with prayer, song, and joy was truly amazing.

I was fortunate to be there and what I saw was inspiring. I also saw the stunned faces of the pro-abortion demonstrators the moment the young pro-life men lifted up the young lady on a platform they held on their shoulders and then she began to rally the troops!! I feel privileged that I was able to witness what I did. These Pro-Life rallies are very important because they remind everyone that there is a human genocide going on and that it must never be rationalized away.

A bill to limit taxpayer funding of abortion? In Illinois?? THAT, my friends, is a true miracle. Not surprised that I haven't heard a word about it in our papers. I'll be calling my representatives today.

It was hard to tell from the video but the number of participants on both sides seemed equal. Way to represent, pro-lifers, esp. in less than stellar weather.
I agree with the first comment – not a flash mob. And although they weren't calling the event a counter-protest it certainly seemed like one. Just sayin'…

I know a lot of those people, most of them go to my parish. It's kind of an extra thrill to see them in such a cool video.
