Oh if only abortion were completely legal this never would’ve happened. Oh wait….
LifeNews.com reports:
A Planned Parenthood in Everett, Washington sent a woman to the hospital late Friday following a botched abortion and the head of the local abortion business is coming under fire for her response to the events.
Local pro-life advocate Mary Emanuel was at the abortion facility at the time and snapped pictures of the ambulance that whisked the woman away from the Everett Planned Parenthood.
“We are still investigating as to the severity of the botched abortion and only pray that it was not fatal or caused serious injuries,” she said.
Read the rest at LifeNews.com to read how the Planned Parenthood folks seems pretty darn intent on covering up by holding up big blue and white umbrellas, huge white poster boards, and a flattened cardboard box to obstruct the view of onlookers.
Hey, I wonder if all that federal funding that no way no how goes to abortion (wink)maybe goes to covering up botched abortions?
Now, this was seen by an eyewitness, one has to wonder how often this occurs and it’s never known by the public because there’s no pro-life protester outside.
Prayers for all involved.

Too bad Pl. Par. is not part of the Catholic Church (only in the sense below, of course; I boycott PP sponsoring companies). The national MSM would be jumping over each other to get out this cover-up story first and most extensively just like the story of the Catholic Bishops' cover-up of abuse (BTW, I think the MSM went too far with the Bishops; report, yes – slander, no).

I truly appreciate the dedicated work of LifeNews.com, but have an issue with stories like this. The adult person involved is referred to as a "woman" 10 times. Of course, she is. However, a much better word choice in this context would have been mother.

@George@Convert Journal. After an abortion there is only the woman left. The correct term might be former mother. It is the child who makes a woman into a mother, one of the gifts of the newly begotten sovereign person who is created through the will of God and becomes a citizen upon birth. The Declaration of Independence tells us that these truths are self-evident, that all men (and women, sovereign persons all) are created equal and endowed with certain unalienable rights and that among these rights are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Anyone discarding these self-evident truths discards his citizenship and legal standing in a court of law because these founding principles are the basis for American Citizenship

Interesting story to be sure. [sarcasm] Be careful not to take this out of context now, it is just an isolated case after all! [end sarcasm]
Mary De Voe, I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but the Declaration of Independence has no legal bearing in the United States. It is a nice historical and symbolic document, but it is not a legal document. Don't get me wrong, it's a great document, I am just annoyed when people refer to the Declaration of Independence as if it has any power.

Mary- I think that a woman who had miscarried would consider herself a mother even if she was never able to hold her child- but I see where you are coming from
