This is your must read of the day if you want to throw your hands up and pull your hair out. However, if you’d like to remain blissfully ignorant of how Catholic colleges have 150 ties with Planned Parenthood then just click on something else and forget you were ever here.
The Cardinal Newman Society (CNS) issued a devastating report titled “A Scandalous Relationship: Catholic Colleges and Planned Parenthood” unearthing more than 150 current and past connections of Catholic colleges and universities to the national abortion provider, as documented on the Internet.
In the report, CNS urges Catholic colleges and universities to “embrace a no-tolerance position for any relationship with Planned Parenthood,” which CNS asserts is “a leading contributor to what Pope John Paul II labeled a ‘culture of death’.”

I am gratified that the Cardinal Newman Society concerns itself with the salvation of souls. Atheists and abortionists refuse to acknowledge the image of God in man; his soul. The Culture of Death cannot operate within the knowledge of the human being's existence and man's immortal soul.

I am glad that my Catholic College was not on that list. It breaks my heart that so many are, though Georgetown does not surprise me one bit. Georgetown ceased to be Catholic long ago. My heart hurts to see so many on that list though.

In response to the listing of Assumption College in MA: starting in July 2007, after the recruitment for internships at Planned Parenthood, Dr. Francesco Cesareo took on the role of president, and since then he has done a lot to strengthen the authentic Catholic identity of the school, much to the chagrin of some faculty and students, and much to the joy of other faculty and students.

Finding an organization NOT tied to PP is like finding an electronic device NOT made in China. Good grief! PP has a lot of ties!
