Print this story out. Fold it up. Put it somewhere safe. In 50 years when people are wondering what the heck happened to Europe you can put your teeth in, change your diaper, and then take it out triumphantly and say, “THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This happened to Europe.”

And then you’ll be escorted back to your room and all medicated up so you don’t have another “episode.”

But at least with your help future generations can appropriately applaud the great Colin Atkinson as a prophet, a truth teller and they’ll say if only we listened to the great Colin Atkinson, Europe wouldn’t be a giant dung heap built on top of a once great civilization.

Here’s the deal -a company which receives public funding is forcing employee Colin Atkinson to remove a small cross from his work van. His refusal has prompted a disciplinary hearing. The company says some might find the cross to be an “offence.” (Yeah they spelled it in that annoying Englishy way)

But I just love what Atkinson said.

The Telegraph reports:

Colin Atkinson, 64, from Wakefield, has been called to a disciplinary hearing at the housing association where he has worked for 15 years.

His bosses at the publicly funded Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) have demanded he remove the eight inch long cross made from woven palm leaves that sits on his dashboard.

The organisation claims the cross may cause offence but says it strongly promotes “inclusive” policies and allows employees to wear religious symbols at work.

It has provided stalls at gay pride events, held “diversity days” for travellers, and has allowed other staff to display photographs of Che Guevera, the revolutionary leader, in their office.

Mr Atkinson, who is a regular worshipper at church, said: “I have worked in the coal mines and served in the Army in Northern Ireland and I have never suffered such stress.

“The treatment of Christians in this country is becoming diabolical. It is political correctness taken to the extreme.

Awesome. He nails it.

Colin Atkinson says he doesn’t care if he even loses his job. He’s going to fight this. The best part is that the company has been quoted as saying that if an employee wanted to wear a burka they’d be cool with that because they’re all about being inclusive and everything.

So you can sport Che posters and wear a burka but you can’t have a small cross. Yeah, kinda’ sounds anti-Christian which shouldn’t really be a surprise to anyone paying any attention to Europe. Even diabolical.

Fight on, Colin Atkinson. Much rides on this battle.
