Pro-life conservative Governor Bobby Jindal just released his birth certificate proving that he was born in the United States, according to the Times Picayune. Hmmmm. Does this mean that Jindal may run for President or that he believes he might be picked as a Vice Presidential candidate?
Jindal has, however, previously ruled out running for President. The Politico reported this emphatic quote last November:
I’m not being coy at all. I’m not running for president in 2012. Period. No ifs, ands or buts, no caveats,” Jindal said. “We have made great progress in Louisiana, but we’ve got a lot more work to do.”
But, of course, he’s allowed to change his mind.
He doesn’t come off as a real strong presence but I would be intrigued by a Jindal candidacy. He’s a Catholic who seems to take his faith seriously, pro-life and a very popular governor.
Exit thought – If Jindal is the nominee I think we can finally get rid of the America is racist meme what with Barack Obama facing Piyush Jindal for the Presidency.

I still have doubts about Jindal. I point to this legislation, which I still wonder about in light of Catholic teaching: http://www.2theadvocate.com/news/21656994.html

I think it has more to do with the upcoming law in Louisiana stating that you must be eligible in order to get on the ballot for a POTUS run. The law that could have saved everyone a lot of headaches if it had existed in 2008.

He's not a U.S. citizen. It's a fake. I want to see the long form of his birth certificate. In addition to his birth certificate, I want to see a certificate of LIVE birth to make sure he was alive when he was born. Is he even married? I haven't seen his marriage certificate yet either! He's living in SIN! Unless he can prove that the woman he's living with is ACTUALLY his wife!

Anyone with brown skin should have to prove they're a U.S. citizen because only people with white skin are born in the U.S.!

Hehehe…. Cain/Jindal 2012… they won't know WHAT to do!
I can already hear the sputtering: "But…but… CO pay! Exorcism! Not really minority!"

Or maybe Santorum/Jindal 2012 – the media would wet themselves having two candidates that both had articles printed in Catholic magazines.

Jindal seems ok, but, I am looking for someone who shows some real initiative and displays a unique economic approach.
Now, if he were sharp enough, he'd buy the Bin Laden House and rent it out to the true-believers for a ton of cash; you know, like Clinton and Bush used to rent-out the Lincoln Bedroom.
"Bin Laden went to sleep here," sure beats "Lincoln slept here."

My dream president. Stop taunting me with the possibility of things that will never be. You are a very bad, bad, man.

The birth certificate does not concern me as much as how the american economy still needing VAST improvements!

Jindal is not presidential material…. at all. Did you see him when he addressed the nation for the repubs in the minority response when the president gave his state of the union? Jindal is not presidential material….

Jindal's not perfect, but we love him down here in Louisiana and he seems to be to be a pretty upright guy. I do think he could be quite presidential. Certainly more than the community-organizer-in-chief.
He's better than just about any opther options, and he'd remind America of the terrible oil spill and Obama's anti-energy policies.
Please keep in mind (most people don't know) that there is a HUGE natural gas deposit under northwest Louisiana, bigger than all the stuff found under Dallas-Ft. Worth decades ago, and Jindal's probably well aware of the damage Obama's policies and economics have caused for the thousands of people who have contracts with natural gas companies and could turn around one of the poorest states in the country. Obama doesn't want to help the poor, and Jindal can prove it.

Anon, Basing presidential choices based on speeches is a mistake this country made last time. Let's not do it again.

His name sounds to foreign. They need to go back to their third world countries and only allow Americans run for president! Even if he does show his birth certificate, how do we know it's not a fake?
May 8, 2011 at 11:31 pm
Anon…I'm sure you're trying to caricature someone…I just don't see anyone here who fits it…
May 9, 2011 at 5:49 am
He's a foreigner! Let's lynch him! He's a terrorist! His skin isn't white enough!
Anon is not trying to caricature anyone. He's not that smart.
All liberals have is mockery, ridicule, name calling, which quickly escalates to loudmouth "protests," unionesque intimidation, then persecution and brown shirt tyranny.
But never will you here them put forth a cogent argument.
Liberals are neanderthal brutes and tyrants. Always have been.

Yes. We are tyrants. That's why we only want to see the birth certificates of people who do not agree with our political views. Too bad we're not fair and balanced like you.
