If you had told me that I’d ever see another movie with Sean Penn in it I’d have been pretty surprised but I am pumped to see Malick’s new movie “Tree of Life.” The always brilliant Fr. Barron has a sorta’ review and reflection on the movie.

Fr. B interprets the poetry of Malick perfectly. He is always such a pleasure to listen to… I am so amazed that a film of faith like this won the Palme d'Or. Just when you think that Cannes is simply a drain around which a continual vortex of filth swirls, they suddenly get it right!
