I’m reading that this is supposed to be a “pro-life horror movie” but the premise about “pregnant women kidnapped from abortion clinics and forced to give birth” doesn’t seem to be very pro-life to me.
Let me know if this holds any interest for you because it turned me off.

I kept waiting for the Onion logo to show up.

It has the quality of a spoof but it looks like another effort to paint pro-lifers as extremist nuts.
I'm surprised at Robert Loggia's involvement but then I don't know his views on abortion and maybe there's something redemptive about it in the end. Not that you can tell from the trailer…

I have to agree this movie portrays pro-lifers as lunatics and crazies. It is the abortion people who are forcing women to have abortions. "Methinks the lady doth protest too much" (Hamlet)

I'm fairly disgusted. The pro-life movement should be taking great pains to distance itself from this.
This does nothing to advance the movement.

From the trailer, I'd say this is a "pro-choice" horror movie.

For a movie to be good, the premise has to be credible. This is awful. It's not even close to the truth. It's some pro-abort's disturbed vision of what pro-lifers are like. Really, I don't think this will have much of an effect.

This is abortion enthusiasts' warmed over b-movie propaganda. Place alongside that video posted awhile back of the ladies cheering the people entering the clinic…The prolife video would be a fictional but based on what's really going on story about a woman who receives an abortion and is high-fived by the cheering ladies, "Another one bites the dust".
My prediction: straight to video.

Reminds me of the play Keely and Du by Jane Martin.
(un)surprisingly, i saw Keely and Du at a "catholic" university last year.

This presentation of our unalienable civil rights is evil and corrupt. Every human being in existence entrusted to humanity, is held by God, by their parents, and by the state, in that order. The state not only has neglected doing its job of protecting the unalienable civil rights of the newly begotten individual human being, whose sovereign personhood constitutes the nation (state), whose legally and morally innocent virginity is the standard of Justice for the nation, whose love renews the joy of the unmitigated sorry grief of the loss of virginity, the loss of innocence of our dead and dying souls (all of us) even while the state legalized his execution by abortion. If a patriot and citizen, actually anyone who can capture the living human being in existence in the womb to protect its human life unto birth, as the state is authorized to do by the sovereign authority vested in it by the sovereign personhood of the newly begotten sovereign person in the womb, through its laws and other constitutional protections guaranteed by the will of the people for the common good, saving the life of another is legal and laudable. Because the state can only endow citizenship, (of course he will be prosecuted by the state for breaking any law that can save a human life), and the current rabid barbarianism that executes a living, loving human being for the crime and sins of the parents including rape now is current . Justice is predicated upon intent. Intent to save a human life and literally, taking into custody the baby in the womb to bring about its nurturing ought to be displayed and depicted as gentle and gracious to bring about love and grace into our country and our nation.
Only TRUTH has freedom of speech and press. This is video is grisly and demonic, the human sacrifice of abortion, and perjury in a court of law. What a shame these people are so disinterested in their own sovereign personhood that they must pay tribute to the devil to prove that they are human.

I wish science would just advance to the point of being able to "beam" babies out of their moronic biological parents and into mothers who love them.
The fly in the ointment is that women would rather have their offspring dead than have them out in the world living a happy life with different parents. The very thought of the living child convicts them and reminds them daily that they can't "have it all." Abortion to them is like a big jar of white-out. A do-over. A second chance to be a different person.
Yet the murder will haunt them forever.

With an estimated budget of $1.5 million (according to imdb.com) I wouldn't expect a masterpiece.

The premise of the movie is clearly from a pro-choice point of view. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've heard this exact scenario thrown out bombastically in internet comments by pro-choicers. It's as if some NARAL/PP activist types we complaining one day about how if pro-lifers had their way, they would lock the women in a room in order to force them to give birth. "Hey, wouldn't that make a freaky movie? Why don't we plug it to so-and-so to counteract the foothold the 'antichoice' crowd has gained in the teen/young adult demographic? " And there you go.

How closely this video protrays the one child policy in China where pregnant women are arrested and detained, penalized and aborted against their will by the state. The parallel is real. The horror is real, soon to come to America.

apparently the film is in fact from the prolife side… however, I am not so certain that its promotion will not really help our cause at all. Already other bloggers are derailing Pro-lifers as monsters who would do such things if given the power to do so.

This is creepy. Pro-aborts will eat this up like candy and consider this the "inside story" of what pro-lifers really want to accomplish. This does not help persuade people that abortion is evil. It just makes pro-lifers seem like insane lunatics.

Dh and I are big horror fans, he was telling me about this the other day. We both agreed it looked awful and was meant to make pro-lifers look bad.
