The threat was out there. Actually it wasn’t a threat, it was a warning. Archbishop Allen Vigneron warned Father Wurm not to preside at the liturgy organized by the progressive American Catholic Council this past weekend.
Father Robert Wurm seemed, to put it lightly, unfazed.

So, is that really the guy's name? Wurm? Hmmm…I love God's sense of humor;)
NPR grilled the Catholic Church on this Mass as well. Funny, I don't think they mentioned the Archbishop's response. Which is surprising when you consider how thorough NPR is when dealing with Faith and Morals (esp. those Faiths and Morals that are counter to theirs…) *Note: that was completely sarcastic people!!!*
