Could you imagine if someone from Fox had said this to a Republican administration?

If you listen carefully you can hear her lead in to that comment with something about hearing democrats saying it. It's not clear because Mr. Carney is talking over her but it is there. She may deserve some benefit of the doubt.
Is it just me or does anyone else enjoy that the spokesman for this three-ring circus is called "Carney"?

I agree, I think she's quoting someone(s) who she attributes inaudibly. I think his hostile response is further proof that she was not using those as her own words. Not saying she's not in the can for the Democrats, just that this isn't the proof…

I am not quite sure.
But let's suppose, someone complained about the deal the way O'Donell said. She would probably say:he or she said you gave everything they want but they got nothing". It would be two "they", not one "we". Better she would say republicans for they and democrats for we.

If she had that exact quote from someone in particular, then she would be right to use the quote in asking her question, rather than paraphrase it, because then she could simply point to the source. If she paraphrases an exact quote, then this dillweed of a Press Secretary could distort it and say, "Nobody said that"… yada yada yada….

Norah O'Donnell was speaking rhetorically from the position of the Democrats. That is what she meant by "we." This is a case of Andrew Breitbart selectively clipping and starting trouble where there wasn't any. Not very gentlemanly to Ms. O'Donnell. Check out:

O'Donnell is a decent reporter (and she has been heavily criticized by the Left in recent years).
