Oh, what’s happened to Sesame Street that I knew and loved? First there’s all this talk of Bert and Ernie getting married and now this!!!!
If only Muppets could marry, stuff like this would never happen.

Kermit and Miss Piggy hooking up makes the argument against same-sex muppet marriage all the harder. Once you have cross-species tying the knot, all bets are off.
Who's next, Waldorf and Statler?

Now I have to poke out my mind's eye. Thanks Larry. Thanks a lot.

When two become one marriage happens. All the rest is assault and battery, not only of each other, but of the person's soul and especially of our constitutional posterity's inheritance. What are we handing down to our children, all generations to follow? inanity, fecklessness, Looking back, our posterity will be disgusted, ashamed, embarrassed to death and will disavow any relation to such abysmal uselessness.Isn't it why we abort our posterity, for they have the words of truth in their mouths, truth the evil ones do not want to hear?

Miss Piggy, Statler, and Waldorf are all on the Muppet Show. Kermit does occasionally make an appearance on Sesame Street, but not that often. Therefore, the argument for Bert and Ernie to get married holds no water. Sesame Street is for small children, and The Muppet Show is for older people, which is why they can get away with the jokes they do (and don't tell me you never noticed the sexual innuendos made by Pepe and Rizzo).
Also, Bert is straight, as he flirts with female guests, and he sang "I Want to Hold Your Ear".
