A soccer coach whose season has started out 2-2 has figured out what he needs to turn the season around. He needs to learn to whistle. He’s so desperate to learn to whistle that he put out an open call for a whistling teacher on the team’s official website.

I feel for him. I've been practicing for *years* to learn to do the two-finger whistle like DH can… his is so ear-piercing it makes dogs and kids stop in their tracks. It takes me several tries to make a sound that doesn't just sound like a raspberry, and even when I do manage an actual whistle, it is too quiet and, thus, ignorable. I should do like my three-year-old… she sticks her fingers (all of them) in her mouth and screams.
