it's a bit hard to make out but it seems that the choir is singing Gospody Pomiluy, Lord have mercy, and then Dona eis requiem. A beautiful prayer that would unfortunately be omitted in my home country.
What an incredible tribute! As a Red Wings fan, I still remember how hard it was dealing with the limo accident in 97 that ended Konstantinov's career. I can't even imagine losing an entire team! Thanks for posting the video.
God bless those who died in the plane crash and also their families. For the one who survived with 80% burns over his body, may God and his family and friends help him to recover physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I am a hockey mom, 3 of my sons play. While I blog photos of them and support their interest, I usually find the play too rough and goony for my sensibilities.
I sit her in tears now, moved with the honor and respect these men give to each other…
Thanks for letting me see another side of the sport and for sharing this.
Thanks for posting that, Matthew. A co-worker told me that his niece was dating Brad McCrimmon's son – you never know who is impacted by tragedies such as this.
