The last couple of days, I have been hearing some buzz over a “pro-life” Youtube movie called “180.”
I clicked on it the other day but saw at the bottom that it was 33 minutes long, so I closed the window.
I went back to it tonight. Best 33 minutes I have spent in a long long time. This is much more than a pro-life tool. It is a 33 minute tutorial on how to evangelize in a completely secularized culture.
I cannot tell you how impressed I was by this video. Find yourself 33 minutes and watch 180. Wow.

That was powerful – I'm linking this to family and friends.

I just watched it as well, and with the same reaction. Very powerful.

Too bad it's not Catholic. The How you get to heaven part is pretty Protestant. But we'll take the prolife allies.

It's alright, but unfortunately it's a clear case of pick-and-choose by the film maker.
These people being interviewed change their minds like a new mom changes diapers. How can it be considered a victory that they now suddenly support the pro-life movement, when five minutes later they could just change their minds again?
The pro-life arguments are persuasive (although I don't take well some of the interviewer's later tactics), but it's disingenuous to say that they had a lasting impact on those people.

The arguments are ok. Here is the problem. Ray Comfort is a virulent anti-Catholic. Also, he represents himself as "Jewish" yet doesn't tell the whole story, he is a fundamentalist Christian. That is dishonest.
The guy hates the Catholic Church.

I had wondered about that about Ray Comfort. At least the video should get folks thinking. It's unbelievable that anyone would not know who Hitler was. I pray this doesn't become some kind of plague that would cause the Holocaust to be resurrected.

When he asked "What is the 6th Commandment" I kept answering "Adultery". Obviously he never asked any Catholics.
When he asked what do you do when you realise you are a sinner we answered "Repent and be Baptised". But that was wrong too.

Marcel, I agree Ray Comfort is anti-catholic. he may be dishonest. I don't know him. Neither of those points negate what the video is about. I honestly would love someone who is skilled media to make a similar video showing Roman Catholicism as the true church using empirical evidence. I think a lot of time, anti-catholics are like the folks in the video here. They never really knew or thought about it enough to be objective. Peace!
