You’ve got to see this video of abortion supporters ranting against science. I’ve always argued that pro-lifers are the ones embracing science even though we’re constantly accused of wanting to drag people back to the Dark Ages.

I said this a while back. The next time one of the moderators at a GOP debate asks a stupid question about conservatives being anti-science, a candidate should not that it's the Democratic party that is anti-science with it's pro-abortion stance. After all, the science on life is pretty much on our side. And their anti-science beliefs directly result in over one million dead babies every year.

The only anti-science conservatives are the ones that categorically deny global warming, or the ones that don't accept evolution theory. Liberals can be equally anti-science, but typically about other issues.

Heart doesn't beat til 24 weeks? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Oh my gosh. These are the thinking capabilities of college students these days?! Gracious.

24 WEEKS???? maybe she meant 24 days? How stupid can you be?
I could 'understand' these pro-aborts saying "yes, the science shows there is human life, but we don't care."
Even the viability argument is getting bad for them- it's getting younger and younger

Are these the Materialist magicians that C.S. Lewis wrote of? Worshipping "forces" and "opinions" without acknowledging GOd? Funny and very very sad at the same time.

I also love how they say that virus are little living things. Actually, scientists don't know what exactly viruses are, but they certainly don't exhibit the characteristics of life. They aren't alive, technically. I guess pro-abortionists aren't good at ANY science, not just the science of gestation.

Hand count – how many of those saying that science doesn't matter also hyperventilate over global warning? That whole "The science is settled" thing?

Think about this: in about 25-30 years, we'll be handing over care of our country to them … assuming there's anything left of it.

Heart beat is detectable as early as 18 days. "Viability argument" is not an argument: the child is not only viable, but actually living, and will continue to live if left in peace. Lynda

Interesting, though I don't care that much who's for science. It matters, but I've always thought Christians were truer humanists than the "secular humanists," and that that is the paramount fact.

There is no global warming, and God created the universe.
October 8, 2011 at 3:09 am
there is global warming and God is disappointed that we are not being good stewards of the universe.

"When people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing–they believe in anything."
Whether it's equating babies with viruses, rejecting observable facts, swallowing evolutionary mythology or global warming propaganda ON BLIND FAITH, these people are nutters. Which would be fine if you could just ignore them, but they're also numerous, irrational, and subscribe to an ideology that is as evil as Mao or Hitler or Lenin.

The issue is not whether there is "global warming". First of all, "global warming" does NOT mean that every place on earth is getting hotter, it means that AVERAGE global temperatures are rising. It is possible for some places or some seasons to get colder and still have the average global temperature go up. Hence the shift to the term "climate change."
Is climate change occurring? Of course, climate ALWAYS changes with time and it always will. The question is not whether climate change exists; the question is 1) whether human actions, natural cycles or other phenomena are the primary cause of this change, and 2) IF human action is a factor, what should be done about it.
Yes, I believe that climate change is occurring. What I DON'T believe is that it is necessarily driven by human actions, that it is necessarily going to be catastrophic, or that drastic and immediate restrictions on energy use (as opposed to gradual, economical and sensible shifts in energy use) are necessary to prevent it. If that makes me a "global warming denier," so be it.

This video is proof that Abortion is a demonic religion. No science, no facts, no reasoning. Even with many, many women today coming forward with regrets of abortion along with the emotional scars, the evidence of breast cancer and/or the inability to bear children – they don't even give an inch on restricting abortions – NOTHING will stop their desire for a human sacrifice.

Global warming is not caused by man. Evolution without the Prime Mover, God, is impossible.
October 8, 2011 at 11:28 pm
wow! are you sure this wasn't one of Jay Leno's man on the street videos? If xy=female then I have a problem with my marriage! (unless xx=male, in which case I simply have a problem with my own gender identity)

I personally incline to the "weak" position on anthropogenic climate change. I don't think we're having no effect, but I also know just how tiny an effect we even can have.
Understand, the atmosphere of the Earth has a mass of 5 quadrillion tons. That's a 5 followed by 15 zeroes. Put another way, even if we output 5 billion, with a B, tons of pollutants per year, it'd still take 10,000 years to equal 1 percent of the atmosphere's mass.
The Greens always say humans need to understand just how small they are, right?
