From time to time, a bunch of science types like to get together. And from time to time they like to let the scope of their scientific speculation stray into areas out of their purview. And from time to time, based purely upon wild speculation which often poses as science these days, a small minority of these science types like to think that they have discovered a deal breaker for religion in general and Christianity in particular.
Did Jesus die for Klingons too?

To be fair to the science types, there are Christians who agree it's a deal breaker– mostly because they spend all their time insisting that it's not possible. Found that out when I posted over at The American Catholic and spent over a hundred back-and-forths trying to get a guy to talk sense and go with something more than "because I say it's not possible."

In metaphysical terms, all sapient animals are "man", just like all self-mobile life-forms are animals and all non-self-mobile vegetable life-forms are plants.
So what redeems "man" redeems all men, be they Klingons, Unggoy, or mahendo'sat.
