That was awesome! I don't tell my children their daddy is coming home until we are headed to pick him up. It's always like this when they finally see him. Lots and lots of happy tears. This was a good one.
And can I say that's the Bruins' captain is a giant. Wow.

Hasn't there been an increase in military displays at sporting events? I was watching a car race not long ago and they had a military contingent there to applaud, what that had to do with car racing, I don't know. Maybe the Bruins can arrange to bring ALL the troops home for OUR borders…now THAT would be cool.

Anonymous,
NASCAR has been a huge supporter of the military from it's onset. Charlotte Motor Speedway many years back asked for a flyover during the national anthem. It is now a permanent fixture at all races. You will see Guard members providing security and all the drivers go out of their way to spend time with them on a race weekend. Drivers also support many military charities. They are just good red-neck boys who understand where their freedom comes from. Brad Keselowski's charity provides rides in a racecar after races as well as supporting the Wounded Warrior Project. The Burton brothers provide hunting weekends for our veterans. The list goes on and on.
A NASCAR fan and military wife.

I never tell the kids when their father is coming home until it's time to pick him up. Too many changes equals too many disappointed kids. Loved this video! Great job Bruins!
Anon 5:29, sounds like you're a bit irritated at organizations that know the meaning of "in it for the long haul" in terms of supporting our troops that have been in it for the long haul. I'm glad there are still organizations and patriotic Americans that are willing to still show support for our troops.

Not a problem, I turn the jingoism off and read a book.

Dirtdart wife;
No, I'm irritated that tax dollars are spent on military imperialism against countries that did nothing to the US, innocent people are being killed, that it is all propagandized as "protecting" me and my "freedoms". BTW, our "freedoms" have been disappearing at a much faster rate SINCE Our Sainted Heroes began "protecting" them. The "long haul"?? You mean until there are no longer any Christians in the MIddle East? Until the Skull and Bones rulers have seized all the wealth of the Middle East? Until the US defaults under the costs of its Romanesque military empire and there is no longer a US to "defend"? The Neocons have told us the wars will now be never ending but I gueess thats job security, but what a job. So long Just War theory, hello "Patriotism".

I visited my sister in North Carolina a few years ago and took her to her first Hurricanes game (they played the Bruins). Ticketmaster had 2 seats next to the glass, by a corner face-off spot. Every time Zdeno Chara came by, it blew me away how big this guy is! I can't get over how the mom in this video comes up to his waist.
