Well, this is it.
I am at Matt’s house and now just mere hours away from the marathon. I am psyched and a little nervous. It has been five years since I have done one of these. We’ll see how I hold up.
Matt and I are heading over to the expo to pick up my race number and do some shopping. I am thinking something in spandex? Kidding. Maybe get some runner bling though.
Then I will get myself a famous Philly pretzel and a cheese steak. Watch the Notre Dame game against that other pseudo-Catholic college, B.C.
Then off to bed to get up at 4am.
Then 26.2. I will let you know how it goes. Keep me in your prayers.

God bless and I hope you run the race the way you have envisioned it!

Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
~ Isaiah 40:30-31
Good luck, Patrick!

Please keep your promise about no spandex! I live here in Philly and we don't want any riots.

WooHoo! Beautiful sunny day in Philly. Hope you did well. My son ran the half – did really well.
