Ann Coulter puts the Cain accusations in context and it seems fairly despicable and highly implausible.
I will note that the other day I posted on the new Cain accusation then only weakly pseudo-denied by Cain’s lawyer (who he should immediately fire) which only served to make him look guilty. Cain has now firmly denied the accusations and after reading this Coulter piece, this looks like one of the worst political hit jobs ever.
After the first round of baseless accusations against Cain, an endless stream of pundits rolled out the cliche – as if it were the height of originality – “This isn’t he said-she said; it’s he-said, she-said, she-said, she-said, she–said.”
Au contraire: We had two “shes” and only one “said.”
Remember? Only two women were willing to give their names. And as soon as they did, we discovered that they were highly suspicious accusers with nothing more than their personal honor to support the allegations. Only one of the two would even say what Cain allegedly did.
…
Ginger White claims she had a 13-year affair with Cain – and all she has are two books with inscriptions that could have been written to an auto mechanic who waited in line at a Cain book signing. Even her business partner during the alleged affair says White never mentioned Cain’s name. These women are like triple-A ball players with the stats being: number of bankruptcies, smallest bank account, number of liens, most false claims, number of children out of wedlock, degrees of separation from David Axelrod, total trips to human resources and so on.
That wouldn’t be dispositive – except for the fact that their only evidence is their word.
But this is how liberals dirty you up when they’ve got nothing: They launch a series of false accusations, knowing that Americans with busy lives won’t follow each story to the end and notice that they were all blind alleys.

Cains alleged sexual peccadilloes are the least of the problems with him.
He is clueless on that issue so beloved of war mongers: foreign policy, and ADMITS it:

Sorry, Ann's columns can be summed up thusly: the media failed to fully investigate John Edwards's affairs, therefore the media is being hypocritical here, and as such we should ignore these stories.
You know, I completely agree that the MSM is biased and is unwilling to dig as deeply into malfeasance when a (D) is attached next to a politician's name. But too many conservative media types are being just as blinded by ideology. Frankly, I am agnostic on whether Cain is guilty, and there are more substantive reasons to dislike Herm, but I am tired of seeing so many conservatives carry water for the guy based on such faulty logic.
And sure the accusers are hardly model citizens. But I don't recall Paul Jones and many of the other women involved with Clinton being members of high society, yet most conservatives were willing (correctly, as it turned out) to believe their stories. So don't blather on about the MSM double standard when you're engaged in one yourself.

Would you give regular financial assistance and close friendship for THIRTEEN YEARS to someone your wife has never met or even heard about? No. Not if you were faithful to your wife you wouldn't. That is what we call in the biz a QED.

Alas, one less Warmongerer for Catholics to vote for…but he wasn't Catholic so it's not that big a tragedy. There's still Santorum and Gingrich lead the slaughter for empire.
