Tebow wore “John 3:16” on his eye black in the 2009 BCS Championship game and has since become identified with the famous Bible message. The coincidental stats caused millions of fans to perform Google searches on the Bible passage in the past 24 hours. Here’s one more unbelievable stat: John Ourand of Sports Business Journal reports that the final quarter-hour television rating for the Broncos-Steelers game was, you guessed it, 31.6.
And you thought God didn’t care about football games.

He did have 316.6 yards offense but, the 31.6 yards per completion is a fabrication. This was made up as "yards per attempt", a made up stat. An impressive game anyway.

What can I say…this is an great time to be a Christian. John 3:16 and its message of salvation is back in the limelight. First Tim Tebow serves as a messenger, then Focus on Family airs a John 3:16 commercial during the game, and the song John 3:16 by Cindy Tucker is going viral on the net….like I said, great time to be Christian….lets all keep the positive dialogue going!!!
