This is hands down one of the funniest things I have seen. Jon Stewart’s show interviews Froma Harrop. And the results are one of the awfullest funniest interviews I have ever seen. My. Sides. Hurt.

Criminal license. Ms. Harrop's embrace of ignorance to appear innocent is pathetic. Humor, satire and irony come from within the originator and everybody enjoys the human tragedy. Calumny, slander and libel are invectives hurled at others for political or montary or other illicit gain. Honestly, I believe Mr. Harrop understood the implications of what was being asked of her and refused to allow that she did not have the right to destroy the TeaParty's right to peaceably assemble to petition the government for redress. Ms. Harrop probably has not read the U.S. Constitution either. What person on the left has read the Constitution and bothers to respect their opponents' civil rights? This is dirty fighting, a punch below the belt. As the saying goes: She is such a good liar, she believes herself. Mr. John Oliver was terribly funny and unbelievably in control. Thank you Patrick Archbold. I would have missed this otherwise. God bless. (I really hope AND PRAY Ms. Harrop gets sued)

Mary, I appreciate your viewpoint on this, but as a Rhode Islander and therefore a reader of Mrs. Harrops paper for the last 20+ years, I can tell you with some confidence that irony is entirely lost on her.
This is not feigned ignorance, she is just that much of a dim bulb. The article that compared 'Tea Partiers to Terrorists" was wholly and entirely stupid. She can spout the liberal agenda well enough, but the thinkin' part on the op-ed pages is NOT her forte.
I'm anon. because Providence is a VERY small town.

One more thought, citizens can become traitors and practice treason, like Benedict Arnold. Non-citizens, like the shoe bomber, arrested in our country, ARE terrorists. Tea Partiers cannot be terrorists. Although Tea Partiers can become traitors if they wilfully violate our Constitution. Only TRUTH has freedom of speech and press. The TRUTH, the whole TRUTH, and nothing but the TRUTH is allowed in court. Everything else is perjury, or hearsay and completely inadmissible in court. Not to long ago, pro-lifers, returning vets and anybody who knew how to use a gun were labeled "Right-wing Terrorists". I am not laughing.
