What an awful reminder that none of us know what day will be our last. Rest in peace.
Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.
Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us.
May God have mercy on his soul.

I am really sad.
May God be with him.

I give him all the compassion he gave his enemy's. Reminds me alot of Lee Atwater. Treated his opponents as enemy's, not as opponents. My best to his family but the world is now a more compassionate place. He is the male version of Ann Coulter.

RIP Andrew. Anon- give it a rest for one day. "the world is now a more compassionate place". Irony, thy name is anonymous.

Breitbart lived to expose liberals as the hypocrites they are… people much like you who wish "the best" to his family while stooping to dig, people who preach tolerance while being the most intolerant people on the earth, people who rejoice in the suffering of others while having the thinnest skins.
Just stick a hand over your preachy pie-hole for five minutes and say an honest prayer for this man and his family, and maybe one for yourself.
Passing judgement over who should live and who should die in this world is a risky thing. God just might take your fine advice to your disadvantage.

Who will watch our backs now?

RIP. What a shock to hear this on the news this morning. 🙁

BTW, anon, I think you meant "enemies" and not "enemy's" in your post. If you're going for clever, it's better that you do it without embarrassing yourself.

"I give him all the compassion he gave his enemy's."
Judging from your troll shot at a man who died suddenly at 43 and left a wife and 4 kids behind, my guess is that Breitbart at his worst far exceeded your compassion at your best.
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob raise Breitbart to eternal life.

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Pray for his wife and 4 small children.

You get what you give. Live by the sword…
Thanks for the spelling lesson re enemies.

Breitbart was almost as disgusting as Rush Limbaugh. I'll pray for his wife and children. God in His infinite wisdom had other plans for Breitbart.

Funny how it was announced immediately he died of natural causes. No waiting for tox screens, etc. as with other celebs. Also coincidental that he died the same day he had announced plans to release videos of Obama at college. I wasn't a fan of his but……

Yeah, and on the same day Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced the preliminary findings of his investigative team's seven-month probe, which found "probable cause" that Obama's birth certificate is a forgery, that Hawaiian officials may have been up to no good in this matter, and that an overseas birth may be out of the realm of impossibility. In other words, a full-blown investigation is warranted. We'll see if someday we'll be looking at this day as the moment that Obama's House of Fraud started tumbling down. Hopefully it will turn out to be that there was nothing sinister about Breitbart's death, but I'd hope the truth of the matter comes out.
