Since the term “sl@t” for women who pronounce they’re having sex and you have to pay for it is no longer acceptable, as has been shown by what will come to be known as the Limbaugh debacle, it seems our culture is in desperate need of a euphemistic replacement for the offensive term.
1) Undocumented harlot
2) Vertically challenged
3) Morally and physically flexible
4) Super-duper tolerant
5) Democrat (Ok. That one may have gone too far.)
6) The working spore (That one definitely went too far.)
7) HHS employee
8) Future reality star
9) Planned Parenthood Preferred Customer
Any addition to this list would be welcome.

Thank you for confirming my opinion of Catholics — you hate women. I'm linking this post to every feminist website I can find.
By the way, Limbaugh stated in his offensive diatribe that he wanted to watch Sandra Fluke's sex tapes on the Internet. Can't you even condemn for watching porn?

Thank you for providing reason #5,987 why my decision to leave the church 40 years ago was a good one. How many tenets of your faith are you going against in this brief post? Let's see – bearing false witness (Sandra Fluke never mentioned her sex life, and was describing students who needed contraceptives to deal with medical issues, and who could not afford it, since the insurance plan WHICH
THEY PAID FOR did not cover it); judging others (I thought that was the job of the Big Guy upstairs); siding with the rich and powerful despot Rush over the marginalized, insignificant Sanra Fluke (I seem to recall something in the Bible like "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me"). I'm sure there are more. Keep it up, I'm sure your efforts will convince countless women that the Church is no place for them.

I do not see Sandra Fluke's name in Matt's post. However, there are a lot of people defending her in the comments. Interesting how they associate her name with sl@t.
Ms. Fluke may have never claimed to have been fornicating, however she did commit grievous sin by lying and misrepresenting herself before Congress. Though even worse, is her insistence that Catholics commit the mortal sin of supporting contraception and abortion. She deserves to be shamed.
As far as Rush Limbagh is concerned; he apologized for lowering himself to the level of the Democrats. As Jesus taught, we must forgive him.

Anonymous, it takes two seconds on Google using "Rush Limbaugh slut" to find the name of the woman Archbold slams in this post.

I am a married woman who took birth control pills for a total of 9 years. We have two children by birth and two by adoption, and I have to take medications that would be disastrous and poisonous for my developing baby. We are pro-life, but my husband had a vasectomy so that I could go off of artificial hormones and still keep taking my life-saving meds. (Not to mention the fears that the pills, which are designed to prevent ovulation altogether, could inadvertantly result in very early abortions by failure to implant).
I just wanted you to know that there are many reasons Christian women take birth control pills (or Christian men have vasectomies — a subject you've spoking about with scorn here).
Please, please elevate your tone here. NO woman created in the image of God (and that's all of us) deserves to be called a sl*t, or any other "funny" terms, for any reason. It ends up demeaning and insulting ALL women, and it also insults you, the name-caller. And it's not funny.

This is pathetic. Not only is your rhetoric embarrassing, as many others have now pointed out, but the premises of the insults are wrong.
First, Rush assumes Fluke is having sex all the time because she is constantly on the Pill. Of course, one takes the Pill every day whether one is having sex or not. She could be entirely chaste or utterly promiscuous. You have no idea. (Not that it is any of your business.)
Second, no one is paying her for sex, nor is she asking anyone to, which is the definition of a prostitute. She is asking that her health insurance plan pay for normal, preventative care, the same as, say, vaccinations.
Rush's insults, which you repeat and try to amplify, are not only adolescent-level name-calling, they're based on conditions that exist only in his mind.

Yes, Jesus, Ezekiel and many others used profanities. Now, if you claim to be backed by them, at least cuss when confronting similar situations as they did, not to pretend yourself to be "politically incorrect" when you are closer to "politically idiot".

"who pronounce they're having sex and you have to pay for it"
Since nobody is being asked to pay for anyone else and this fact is obvious to anyone who cares about the truth, what's a good euphemism for "bald faced liar"? May I suggest "conservative" or perhaps "matthew archbold"
The Commandment should be changed to
"Thou shalt not be a mathew archibald against your neighbor"

Hmm, someone pointed me to this site saying it is a Christian blog. After reading the content here and the comments in support, I guess my friend was wrong about that.

After reading this, I have only one thing to say to you: For the rest of your life, you're going to have to live with the person you've revealed yourself to be. I can think of no worse punishment than that.

I can't understand how the notion that a woman taking a pill a day means she is having ALL THE SEX has gained so much traction. You take one pill a day whether you are having sex once an hour or once a year, (or never — Sandra Fluke's entire point was that it has numerous uses in controlling painful and/or dangerous medical conditions). If you had sex say once a month and took it then, it would do precisely nothing.
I would like the author of this blog to tell us if he has ever had sex for non-procreative purposes. Surely he has not and will be happy to tell us so.
