That is good humor. I actually saw them for a lot less back in the day when I was kind of a heavy metal fan. They were opening for someone else. I should pray for Dimebag Darrell.
Now I see the problem i'm having with this: I don't want to like Nickleback cuz none of the cool kids like them – but I do ("these five words in my head screaming 'are we having fun yet'"); I so very much wanted to like For the Greater Glory (Vivo Cristo Rey!) but left after the first very boring, poorly acted first hour.
Where does the visceral hatred for Nickelback come from? I still can't figure it out. I mean, Nickelback isn't the best or most original band ever, but they're not the worst either. To me hating Nickelback is like hating the colour beige. They're so innocuous I can't even tell them apart from every other bland top 40 band. They're just okay, that's it. Not hatred worthy.
@Pat: I don't know about other people, but I am allowed to hate Nickelback because I'm a bitter metalhead who thinks good music ceased to exist in 1993.

What does Dimebag Darrell have to do with Nickleback? He wasn't in Nickleback. And yes, Nickleback sucks.
Vivo Cristo Rey!
